The Chosen One shouldn't exists?

SongsOfAeon
When Earth awakened into the Echelons of Ascension, a cosmic system that ranked worlds and granted them access to power, evolution, and status—it should have marked a new beginning. But Earth’s awakening was a disaster. Instead of rising as its original proud SSS rank, Earth collapsed into an E-Rank wasteland, the lowest tier possible, where only lowest-ranked talent thrived. In the Echelons, low-ranked worlds didn’t survive—they were colonized, harvested, or enslaved by stronger planets, either consisting of fellow humans or other mythical races like elves, druids, fairies, dragons etc. Yet this failure wasn’t a glitch. It was a sacrifice caused by a phenomenon known to many as The grand will awakening which happened once in hundreds of thousands of years, All of Earth’s potential—its blessing, its future—was forcefully funneled into a single person: a teenage boy obsessed with immortality, Lucian Vermora. Once the son of a revered president. Now, the sole Hope of a dying world. A false immortal. A false god in exile. On his home planet, he reigned like a deity—able to bless or curse with his false divine authority, bend life and death, and rewrite fate itself. His power grew as the world evolved, and with each rank, his dominion expanded. But Earth’s rebirth had drawn attention like every other newly awakened world. Predators from higher-ranked worlds were circling, eager to add another slave to their collection, but their interest wasn’t of much on E ranked planet yet however it wouldn’t last as the anomaly born in this planet had to protect his planet from getting enslaved. At the same time, protected himself from the eyes of powerful beings who if found out about his false immortality they would do everything in their power to get a piece of him. Because in the Echelons, the weak served the strong… And they had no right to even their souls.

Ashen Requiem

In the year 2030, Earth underwent a transformation as sudden as it was cataclysmic. Mysterious meteorites of unknown origin appeared in the solar system, evading all detection systems, as if they had materialized from nothingness itself. Fifteen of them—black and white—crashed into our planet, while an indeterminate number were lost in the vastness of space. At that time, humanity was already steeped in sin, moral decay, and pride. For some, the arrival of the meteorites was seen as a divine judgment—a brutal purification inflicted upon a world on the brink of perdition. These black and white meteorites carried within them supernatural energy, yet of diametrically opposed nature. The black ones, true catalysts of destruction, poisoned the environment and gave birth to chaos, madness, and mutation. The white ones, on the other hand, seemed to offer a semblance of blessing, though their influence remained ambiguous at times. Living beings exposed to these energies—be they human or animal—were forever changed. Many perished; others were transformed into monstrous entities or granted supernatural powers. But this so-called "gift" was in truth a veiled curse—those marked by corruption became outcasts, hated and hunted. The world, fractured, witnessed the collapse of several nations. Entire regions were quarantined and forgotten, while the so-called “Bastions of Light” became the final refuge of what remained of civilized humanity. The fall of the world dismantled all known structures. Ancient legends came to life, mythological creatures emerged—some lurking in the darkest corners of the globe, others awakened by the disruptions. Dimensional portals, rare but real, opened under the influence of the black meteorites, allowing demonic entities from elsewhere—known as "Cauchemar"—to infiltrate the human world. Humanity, overwhelmed, slowly descended into madness. And yet… amidst the chaos, figures rose. Heroes emerged from religious, scientific, military, and anarchist factions. Among them, one name stood out: Klein—a mysterious man newly elected Pope of a reborn organization known as "The New Church". He brought light and order where all seemed lost. Officially, it was he and his companions who saved the world from the first wave of collapse. But in the shadows of History, another truth remained. Jin, a rebel, a symbol of resistance, had stood against the Church and the World Government, which had formed in the aftermath of the catastrophe. Accused of crimes he did not commit, he was captured, tried, and sentenced to death. His execution was to take place in Almeris, the spiritual capital of the new world. On that day, war erupted. Jin's supporters launched a desperate attack to rescue him, unleashing a battle so devastating that it reduced 20% of the planet to ruins. Jin perished that day, along with most of his companions. But before falling, he made a solemn vow: to return. To take revenge. To honor the promise made to those who still believed in him. Since then, a rumor persists—Jin will return, and with him, the world will once again be transformed.
