In a quiet village surrounded by misty rice fields, sixteen-year-old Ereshan dreams of a life beyond the boundaries of tradition and superstition. For generations, his people have lived in fear of the Sacred Forest, believing it to be guarded by ancient spirits. When strange omens begin to plague the land—prolonged eclipses, vanishing animals, and eerie lights dancing over the hills—the village priest warns that the barrier between worlds is weakening.
One morning, a brilliant object falls from the heavens, crashing deep within the forbidden woods. Drawn by an irresistible force, Ereshan defies the village’s warnings and ventures into the Sacred Forest. There, amid whispering trees and ghostly lights, he discovers a fragment of a celestial bridge—an artifact once used by the gods themselves to travel between realms. Upon touching it, Ereshan is marked by a burning sigil and flooded with visions of a world on the brink of collapse.
Returning home, he is met with fear and suspicion. The villagers, terrified by the sign on his hand, banish him to protect themselves from the misfortunes they believe he will bring. Alone and uncertain, Ereshan’s journey begins when he encounters a mysterious wandering monk who reveals the truth: the fallen gods are stirring, the ancient islands are fracturing, and only Ereshan—chosen by fate—can restore balance.
