Among those who originally pressed the challenge button against Guding, there were more than 140,000 people in total. Most of them, after witnessing Guding's strength, chose to give up their rights to challenge. Now, the remaining challengers numbered less than 20,000.
Out of these more than ten thousand individuals, most felt that not exchanging blows with Guding would leave them regretful. Of course, there was also a small minority who harbored the wishful thinking that they might possibly win.
After leaving the Cultivation Tower, Guding headed straight for the Arena. Along the way, the Sea Emperor informed him of the new rules.
The rules of the Arena, besides the scheduled challenge time requiring presence, allowed the challenged to have a three-day rest period after each day's challenge if the challenges lasted for two or more days.
