Baby Sunshine quietly walked to her parents' room, pushing open the door. The door to the master bedroom was always left half-closed for this reason – nobody else dared to come in without knocking and getting a permission to do so.
Eric Crown looked up as soon as he heard the bedroom door being pushed open from the outside. Of course, he knew who had the audacity to do that. He smiled and waited.
Baby Sunshine climbed onto the bed and sat on her daddy's chest, lying over to use her finger to open his eyes. "Dada, I know you're not sleeping," the little girl said, smiling.
Eric Crown laughed. "With you trying to open my eyes, how can I sleep?" he answered.
His daughter, Baby Sunshine, looked at her father seriously and said, "As soon as I push open the door, you always wake up." She stated this matter-of-factly.
