"You have been a bad man, cor Ted Tobias!" Tomjohn bellowed.
Zerielle seemed to snap back into reality. Fear visited her eyes, or then it was some other primeval feeling that closely resembled fear.
"So?" Ted shouted back towards the living, breathing darkness. "And you are a virtuous man?"
"This island is a test! No one who has a heart as cold as yours will survive it! No one!"
"Dramatic tendencies," the high cor whispered to the artist. "Do not believe him. Life does not work that way...leaving tests like this...life is much less...less…"
But he could not think of anything smart to say. He never finished that sentence. Now he thought he might not even be able to get out of this place at all.
It bothered him that he could not act out on his own dramatic tendencies.
"And who are you to tell me such things?!" the high cor shouted at Tomjohn. "Are you some sort of a madman who thinks he is destined to be the psychotic guardian of some homebrew morality test?"
