The forest was thick with shadows, moonlight cutting through the canopy in slivers of silver. The group moved swiftly beneath the trees—Alexander leading the charge, with Six, Griffin, Freya, the Cepans, and Malcom following close behind. Their steps were purposeful, urgent. The air was tense, humming with anticipation. They were close.
Just behind them, Sam's phone buzzed violently in his hand—rapid beeps in a steady cascade. He glanced down at the screen.
Then stopped cold. His eyes widened.
"Oh… shit."The word slipped out, loud enough to halt the entire group. Leaves rustled underfoot as they turned.
Alexander whipping around questioned."
What is it?"
Sam didn't answer. He just turned the screen toward them, the shaky footage already playing.
John. Holding Sarah's hand. Running. The camera swerved—but what came next was crystal clear.
John's arm flung toward a patrol car, and the vehicle lifted, tires spinning in the air before it crashed sideways, forcing the cops to scatter.
A stunned silence fell over the group.
Sam flatly said."John messed up."
They gathered around the screen, the glow illuminating grim faces. The sound of partygoers screaming, phones clicking—recording it all—filled the air. There was no stopping it.
Sam added."This is going mega viral. I've already been sent this by three different people... and it's climbing."
E.V.E's voice chimed in from Alexander's comm—calm, but strained."Sir, I have initiated takedown protocols the minute the video showed up. But it's too late—the Mogadorians have it. They're moving."
Alexander's voice cut through the tense air—stern but soft, controlled like the calm before a storm."You did what you could, E.V.E."
Six stood a few paces behind him, eyes locked on the flickering screen. She didn't say anything at first. She didn't need to—her clenched fists and the twitch in her jaw said enough.
She knew how hard Alexander had worked. How many sleepless nights he'd spent trying to protect them all, keeping their identities off the grid. Keeping them alive. And now, in a blink, John's recklessness had lit a match under the entire operation.
Her voice came low and razor-sharp, slicing through the silence like a thrown dagger."I'm going to punch him in the face for this one."
Alexander turned slightly at the sound, catching the fire in her eyes. He didn't stop her. Didn't tell her to calm down. Because deep down—he agreed.
While Henri let out a heavy sigh, rubbing his forehead."He knows better than this…"
Dante added."We all knew the rules. Stay low. Stay quiet. Don't give them a reason."
Alexander's gaze hardened. His voice was calm, but ice cold."Where is he now?"
Sam's thumbs moved fast, scrolling through messages and updates. His expression turned grim as the screen updated again.
"He's headed to the school—with Sarah."
Griffin threw his hands in the air, exasperated."Fantastic. From bad to catastrophic."
Malcom spoke up."If the Mogs didn't know where he was before… they damn sure do now."
Freya added."Then we get to him before they do."
Alexander said quietly, but with edge."This just became a race."
Alexander turned to the others—eyes locked on Dante, Henri, Hilde, Conrad, Sam, and Malcom."You go after Sarah's parents—and Sam's mother. The Mogs and FBI will come after them too now, since Four pulled her into this. So protect them at all costs."
The group nodded in understanding.
Then Alexander turned to Freya, Griffin, and Six. He gave Griffin a look—a silent signal."We're going after Four."
Griffin grinned and reached for Freya and Dante. Alexander grabbed Six by the arm.
In a blink—WHOOSH.
They vanish.A lingering ripple distorts the air for just a moment—then fades into nothing.
Henri stood staring at the fast fading blur, eyes wide."How many powers does he have...? What is he?"
Hilde crossed her arms, watching the spot where they'd disappeared."A lot. We'll explain later—right now, we've got work to do."
[A/N: Alexander is going to br descendant of the legendary first Pittacus Lore, also since Jupiter Ascending is involved Elders of Lorien own earth, who the garde have rights to Earth. So Alexander, who is descendant of the first Pittacus Lore also has rights, atleast better rights than the garde who are going the inherit the Elder titles.]
