North Hollywood Bank.
A black man around forty years old entered the bank lobby, his build tall and his demeanor composed.
He took a number and sat on the bench to wait.
After a while, a notification sound rang out in the bank, and his number was displayed on the screen.
The man walked to the bank counter and presented his number.
"Sir, what transaction would you like to conduct?" The bank counter clerk was a white woman in her forties, blond and curly-haired, somewhat plump.
"I'd like to withdraw money." The black man passed over a bank card.
"How much?"
"All of it."
"Do you have an appointment?"
"Yes, Michael Arthur."
"Mr. Arthur, you have a total of 20,000 US Dollars in your account. Are you sure you want to withdraw it all?"
"Yes."
The female clerk got up and left, and when she returned, she was holding two bundles of bills which she put into the cash counter and casually asked, "That's quite a sum of money. Are you planning on investing it, or going on a trip?"
