Mikaya very well understood the point Alexander was trying to make by asking such questions about Shahel and his wives. He wanted Mikaya to find out how he treated his other women.
Was he similarly obsessive? Abusive? Or was this treatment only reserved for her?
The latter would clearly prove her point.
Yet, as soon as she said this, the man suddenly changed his tune, "Ah…well, I am sure there is nothing to worry about. He is likely only looking out for you. Hahaha…"
Mikaya's eyes glowed dangerously at this laid back display, even venomously cursing the man under her breath.
The difference between Alexander's language and actions was far too obvious, it was clear as day he did not mean what he said in the slightest. He was simply using textbook reverse psychology.
