Agatha was shocked when she received another call from the World Master Bureau's headquarters. She knew immediately that something big was happening.
She had already shared everything she knew so far with Clyde and had hoped to solve the situation without putting herself at risk.
Now, she regretted everything.
She should never have gotten involved with Clyde in the first place. She should never have seen him as a mere stepping stone just because he was a little stronger. She should have thought more clearly back then.
But now, it was too late for regrets.
It had already happened, and all she could do was act carefully to make sure the Bureau—and Morvius—didn't uncover her true role.
At this point, she could only rely on Clyde and support him completely. If Clyde really managed to conquer the higher realm, she would secure a powerful position for herself.
Nodding to herself, Agatha steeled her heart.
