Look at me now, said I really wouldn't but I haunted you down.
I sigh letting go of this menace called hair. "I give up, it's not gonna work"
"So you wanna run around with your hair like a bush?" Isa asks leaning on my dressing mirror.
"Yeah pretty much, just put it in a bun and voila" I said while showing it to her.
She nods her head slowly. "Just like how you did yesterday?"
"Exactly" I pointed out before slouching as I remembered the event.
"Still thinking of imaginary Yohan?" She seats on the bed picking up my brush.
"He's not imaginary. I'm telling you, one moment I was in a dark room and the next, I appeared outside the loo. Isn't that suspicious?"
She shrugs stopping her hair combing. "Okay only you say loo" I look to her almost aggravated.
"You're missing the point. Who is this Yohan? And most importantly why was he there?" She drops the brush also in thought.
"You're right. Only big, important and rich people go there"
"Like Kate Sharma" I contributed, she nods her head.
"Let's search his name up"
"Good idea" I rush to my laptop on the dressing mirror glimpsing my reflection. "Really?" I point to my puffy hair.
"Sorry" she grimaces. "I forgot your hair is different"
I toss her the laptop before going back to the bathroom. Having curly hair is annoying. A curse and a blessing.
I bring out my leave in conditioner and my spray bottle going ahead to drench the hair. After I was done I get out completely drenched.
"Come see" Isa gestures to the laptop, I scooch over taking a seat.
There were many Yohan on Google, she showed me some which included fat guys, ugly guys and dead ones too.
"This would've been easier if we knew his surname." I nod in agreement.
After more trial and errors of wild goose chases, Isa decided to go and pack for our field trip and environmental charity.
Meanwhile my mind kept on drifting back to a particular someone that I can't put my finger on– literally and figuratively.

"You still went on with the bun even though I said no" I shrug with a smile
"But this one is different. It's a low ponytail see?" I turn around for her to notice.
She analysis my baggy tee with jeans shaking her head. I look to her cute summer dress with pigtails.
"Opposite attracts" she smiles as I nod hooking our arms.
"Opposite attracts" we chuckle walking side by side in a funny way. Just then a commotion was heard ahead.
As the curious people we are we rush to feed our eyes, shocked to find our fellow mate being bullied.
"What should we do?" Isabella whispers. I look at the two broad men and then at us.
"Follow my lead" I add back before walking to them. "Hey, that's not nice. Leave him alone"
They chuckled amongst themselves– I would too if a baby came to fight me.
"Or what?" The tall blondey asks. I look around before walking to them.
"Look, I'm a lady, and I'm not strong enough to fight both of you I mean look at me" I point to my body.
"But please let him go, not because you fear us but because you have a good heart" added I with a raised brow.
"Get lost or you're next" the short brunette commented and the blondey hits him.
"Look, do you want to go to jail?" They look at each other then at me. "He's sick. He has stage two cancer, do you want death in your hands before you finish school?"
"Do you want mum to cry for not having her son when she needs him?" They shake their head proving I'm getting to them.
They picked up the boy, patting him, fixing his clothes and giving him his bag before leaving.
"Wow, that actually worked" Isa exclaims.
"Oh ye of little faith" I rush to the guy that's three inches taller than me. "Are you okay?" He nods his head.
"Thank you"
"It's nothing, you just have to pretend to have stage two cancer by the end of this field trip" I give him a thumbs up. He chuckles shaking his head.
"I'm Byron by the way"
"Sylvia, that cutie is Isabella" she waves at him demurely.
"You're gonna need a hat" I touch his hair suddenly feeling a chill sweep down my spine.
I turn around and a gasp leaves my lips, he was there in his regular black dressing and looking at me with that sardonic glint in his eyes.
"Sylvia?" I look to them with a raised brow. "What are you looking at?" I point to the far end just to find nothing but streets and trees.
"Nothing"

"I slept like a rock. Who knew sleeping in nature was this refreshing?" Isa stretches.
"That makes one of us" and it was true, the whole evening and night was spent on me constantly checking my surroundings because I kept seeing Yohan, and it's happened one too many times for it to be imagined.
"Alright student, have your breakfast, shower because today we're having a special guest that will take us on nature and grooming"
"Who do you think our guest's gonna be" I shrugged looking at my untouched food.
"All I know is I need to sleep" I mumble my body swaying from lethargy. "Curse you Yohan, may you vomit...ants"
After having all but fifteen minute nap, we were called out to meet our guest and his associates.
"Oh my what happened to you. Looks like you had a fight with a racoon" Isa gasps leaning towards Byron.
I pick my band putting the hair in a bun. "There happy?" I said fixing my glasses.
"You should've worn your contacts since we're gonna be in nature all day" Byron suggested and I shrugged.
"Who said I'm gonna participate? The moment this thing starts– I'm going to find a spot to sleep on" they both gaze at me with their mouth agape.
Before the guests arrived I took the liberty to sneak into my tent and pick all the things I require for my outdoor nap.
It wasn't easy but since I know my way around places and besides I'm invincible to many people so I got to a secluded area filled with what looks to be oak trees.
I gently lay my blanket already looking forward to my nap when I heard a branch snap, I turn around surveying the environment– nothing seemed out of the ordinary.
"Must be my imagination" I muttered to myself as I take off my shoes.
"Oh it's not" my heart dropped to my stomach as I scream turning around– hitting his face in the process.
"How are you strong for a girl?" He grounds out touching his jaw.
"Well I'm sorry you scared me" I puff out putting back my shoes. "What ae you doing here?"
He just looks at me in the same cold and gaze he's done many times.
"Look. You don't have to worry, I may be a talkative but I promise you I won't say a word about you or Kate Sharma. So can you please stop following me?"
He takes a dangerous step towards me like a tower– I had to crain my neck up in order to see him.
"You think I'm following you because of that?" Something dark passes his eyes I would've missed it had I blinked.
He was dangerously close our breaths are mingling– his fanning my face.
"Then why are you following me?" I said but it came out breathless and bothered.
"Because you're mine"
