What she entered wasn't a bedroom. Instead, it was a garden, full of tropical plants and tall trees. It looked familiar to her, like the place she had washed up on shore. Without the urgency to survive, she was able to truly look around her and see the paradise surrounding her.
There was a single difference. Before there was no person or even sign of civilization in sight. This time, there was a hut on the beach with a tendril of smoke wafting in the air from the roof. Misty approached it and could see an entrance with a curtain hung to the side. She could see shapes of people inside.
Walking in, she could see Pradhi and Barion cooking a meal for themselves. A roast that looked juicy and tender along with a bowl filled with fruit and another filled with greens. Misty grinned watching them laugh and joke around. If they hadn't been caught all those years ago, they might have met like this.
