Ace aggressively grabbed him to the side, not letting him take a single step.
Kevin frowned. "What are you doing?"
"Don't go near that thing." Ace hissed.
"What thing?" Kevin asked.
"What thing?" Someone from inside the green smoke echoed his question. All eight of them turned to see Bryan standing in tatters. Beside him is his partner who is in worse condition than him.
"Goodness! What happened to you?!" A boy with shrill voice shouted and did not hesitate to approach them and help Bryan in carrying his partner.
Ace shivered the moment the boy stepped into the green smoke. Kevin look at him with puzzled expression.
Is there something wrong with the smoke?
Kevin pinched Ace's arm, who was still holding his wrist. Trying to gauge more information from his reaction. But Ace refused to look at Kevin.
His expression was still tense, as if something will suddenly come out and sprang at them.
