Chapter 108 - World Summit's Peak R-18

Point out any errors I made in the chapters, as I'm very lazy and sometimes can't be bothered to reread them. Also, give your opinions on something I should change or add. 

Note: This chapter has an R-18 scene in it, but still has lore and some important stuff. If you don't want to read the sex scene part, you can skip ahead. I have placed a warning before the scene and a message at the end to skip to.

The Stoneclaw Mountains' outermost region:

Due to the news of the treasures in the Asura Regional Dungeon and the battle that had happened, the stream of players rushing towards the Stoneclaw Mountains increased by the minute. Even experts from the surrounding Kingdoms and the Black Dragon Empire arrived in droves. Although there was a minimum Level requirement of 30 to enter the Regional Dungeon, easily more than 150,000 players had pushed into the Stoneclaw Mountains thus far. Moreover, as time passed, this number would continue to increase.

"Boss Red, there's a Half-orc settlement ahead of us. The settlement houses over 300 Elite Half-orcs and over 20 Special Elites. There are also four Wolfman Chieftains and one Wolfman Lord."

"A settlement?" Red Feather smiled. "Excellent! Notify Willow's team immediately. If we combined our strength, we should be able to take down the settlement."

Over two days had passed ever since Star Alliance's members, along with the elites and experts from the other guilds, had been killed by Black Flame and lost their Immortal Souls. By now, a large percentage of those players have regained their ability to log back into God's Domain, so they all immediately jumped back to work.

Most of the various guilds in the Star-Moon Kingdom that had participated in the fight for the Stoneclaw Mountains had been forced to disband due to the enormous losses suffered, and the Star Alliance was close to meeting the same fate.

Even though it was a powerful First-rate Guild, the Star Alliance had sent the largest number of players to the Stoneclaw Mountains, bringing along most of its elites and experts. Their deaths and the equipment lost had put the guild one foot in the grave.

Hence, all the elites and experts rushed to the Stoneclaw Mountains the moment they logged back into God's Domain in hopes of making back some of their losses so that the guild could continue operating.

However, the loss in levels and equipment made exploration difficult in the Regional Dungeon.

Although the Stoneclaw Mountains were a treasured land, that did not mean that players could obtain Magic Crystals and equipment easily.

After experimenting for some time, the various large Guilds that remained had discovered certain patterns.

Compared to monsters in settlements, the Dungeon's roaming monsters were far less profitable. The difference in drop-rate for Magic Crystals was particularly massive.

Often enough, the harvest one could obtain after taking down a single monster settlement could top even an entire day's worth of income for a 100-man team.

However, settlements were extremely rare. Moreover, even a 100-man team would find it very difficult to take down a settlement. Normally, when a team managed to discover a settlement, they could only circle and watch. However, the Star Alliance did not need to waste their time.

"Boss Red, my equipment had already reached the red caution line. I doubt the remaining Durability will last me through a big battle," a Shield Warrior spoke up after seeing the warning sign beside his equipment's Durability.

The Stoneclaw Mountains' terrain was complex. Not only were there a large number of monsters here, but the monsters were also quite powerful individually. If a team were too large, not only would the monsters discover them easily, but they would also set off a chain reaction, making it harder for the team to survive.

Ever since the battle for Stone Forest Town, the Star Alliance's overall strength had decreased monumentally.

Moreover, the Half-orcs in the Stoneclaw Mountains were very powerful. Their Armor Break ability had caused players massive headaches. Equipment that normally lasted for a long time would drop to a critical Durability after only a dozen or so battles. If an item's Durability reached zero, repairing it would no longer be possible. At that time, it could only be disassembled for its raw materials.

In truth, it wasn't just the lead MT's equipment that had reached a critical point. The equipment of the other MTs and melee players in Red Feather's team had also reached a critical level.

Weapons and equipment were different. One could recover a weapon's Durability through Advanced Whetstones. However, there were no items available that could recover equipment's Durability. Players could only bring their equipment to a smithy for repairs. This was also why players did not normally pay much attention to their equipment.

During battle, players would typically attack and defend with their weapons. Very rarely would their equipment receive a blow. Hence, their equipment's Durability decreased slowly.

However, the monsters in the Stoneclaw Mountains were different. Their Armor Break ability already made them fairly powerful, but they also possessed relatively high intelligence. They would often find opportunities to strike at a player's vital points, quickly decreasing their equipment's Durability.

"What about your backup equipment?" Red Feather frowned slightly.

"I've used it already. This is my final set." The Shield Warrior was also quite frustrated.

After entering the Stoneclaw Mountains, the various large Guilds quickly discovered that the Dungeon exhausted their equipment's Durability. This was especially true for the MTs. Hence, they had specifically prepared multiple sets of equipment in advance to replace their equipment when needed, even if it was much weaker than what they normally used. However, within less than a day of grinding, they had exhausted their backup equipment.

"Damn it. A round trip will take us an entire day. If we wait, some other team will snatch this settlement," Red Feather growled with frustration. He then asked, "What about the party that was sent to replace our equipment?"

Everyone knew how much trouble it was to go back and forth to the Stoneclaw Mountains. Hence, the various large Guilds had arranged parties to deliver replacement equipment for their teams to save time.

"Boss, I just asked, and the supply party says that it'll take them another eight hours or so to reach the Dungeon's entrance."

"Eight hours?" Red Feather doubted that this settlement would remain undiscovered for another eight hours. At this point, the number of teams that came to grind for Magic Crystals continuously increased. Although the Star Alliance had the home-ground advantage, it was only slightly stronger than the First-rate Guilds of the surrounding Kingdoms and Empires. Not to mention, even the Super-first-rate Guild, the Dragon-Phoenix Pavilion, had joined the party. "We'll retreat and meet up with the supply party. Have Willow's team watch over this Half-orc settlement. We must not let someone else obtain it."

Saying so, Red Feather prepared his team to leave the Stoneclaw Mountains.

Since the lead MT's equipment was already in the red, it would not be wise to engage in battle. And since they could not participate in fights, their best option was to meet up with the supply party.

At the same time, the various teams around the Stoneclaw Mountains struggled with the same headache.

If they used Level 30 Mysterious-Iron and Secret-Silver Equipment, they could replace the items as often as they wanted to. However, the monsters in the Stoneclaw Mountains were just too powerful and numerous. Without Level 30 Fine-Gold or above equipment, they would not last long. If they used Secret-Silver Equipment, the equipment could become scrap at any given moment. Yet, Level 30 Fine-Gold or above equipment was simply too rare. The various large Guilds could only secure a limited stock. Hence, each team possessed very little backup equipment.

Most teams were usually forced to rest after grinding for half a day, only to resume after their supply parties arrived.

Meanwhile, in Stone Forest Town...

The Town, which had been heavily guarded and had refused entrance to outsiders, suddenly removed the ban.

"Huh? The guards that usually patrol the town's perimeter are gone."

"Hey, look over there! Independent players are entering and leaving Stone Forest Town."

The various Guilds' supply parties quickly discovered the change.

Unable to help their curiosity, some of these players approached the town.

Originally, Stone Forest Town had not possessed a tall exterior wall. Ever since the town fell into Zero Wing's control, the Adventurer's Association had automatically built one for the town, making it difficult for players to investigate the situation inside.

The town was no longer a gathering place for Red Names. All around, one could see Level 150 guards patrolling the streets. Any player who wished to attack Stone Forest Town had to go through them first.

Level 150 guards.... 

Even a Common Guard at this level could kill current players instantly, not to mention Tier 1 and Tier 2 Guards. Even an army of hundreds of thousands of players would fail to capture the town now. 

A massive, seventeen-story-tall building dominated the town's heart. Zero Wing's six-winged Guild Emblem graced the front of this building, and even from afar, one could see it clearly.

This fortress-like superstructure was none other than Zero Wing's new Guild Residence.

Aside from Zero Wing's Residence, the second most eye-catching architecture was a fifteen-story Shop. Feng had prepared this for the Candlelight Trading Firm. To construct this Shop, Feng had paid a total of 5,000 Gold in material fees. Fortunately, he was in charge of the Town and didn't have to pay for Land.

The Town also possessed plenty of ten-story buildings for other players to use.

These buildings were all within Stone Forest Town's golden area. The taller the building was, the more he could charge in rent.

Feng had specifically designed the Town to allow its main street to lead towards the Stoneclaw Mountains. Any players that entered the Town with intentions of heading towards the Stoneclaw Mountains would have to travel down the main street. Hence, the flow of traffic would have to pass by these Shops, ensuring that they would not go unnoticed.

He had also used a certain Magic Scroll to bind the coordinates of Zero Wing's Guild Residence, which allowed Guild members to use Transfer Scrolls to teleport to the Guild Residence they were bound to.

Previously, as Zero Wing's Guild Residence occupied White River City, even without using a Transfer Scroll, Zero Wing's members could just use a Return Scroll to return to White River City, or whatever other City they were stationed at. Hence, this Magic Scroll would have only been a waste of money.

However, things were different now.

Now that Zero Wing had a Residence in Stone Forest Town, even if the Town did not possess a Teleportation Array at the moment, Guild members could simply purchase a Transfer Scroll from the Guild Hall and teleport to Stone Forest Town.

"Wah, Zero Wing's Guild Residence is huge!"

"Isn't that the Candlelight Trading Firm? It's in operation already?"

"There's a hotel over there!"

"Quick, look! There's a smithy!"

The players who entered the town were immediately mesmerized. Just a few days ago, Stone Forest Town had been a pile of ruins, yet the Town had become brand-new and offered far more than it had previously.

"Crap, I need to notify the Guild!"

"Zero Wing is amazing! It's only been a few days, and already, they have a smithy and hotel."

Compared to the majestic Guild Residence and Trading Firm, the players that entered Stone Forest Town paid more attention to the two types of facilities that could repair their equipment and allow them to recover their Stamina and Concentration.

Very quickly, news about Stone Forest Town spread to every team in the Stoneclaw Mountains, shocking the various Guilds.

Traveling even further, news of Stone Forest Town's opening soon reached the ears of all the players in the Star-Moon Kingdom, and they all rushed to the Advanced Town to see what the Star-Moon Kingdom's number one Guild's Town is like, as well as start exploring the Stoneclaw Mountains for Magic Crystals. 

After Black Flame had obtained the Town Token, the Guilds had launched an extensive investigation on the Town's construction. However, they were immediately flabbergasted. Nobody could have imagined that constructing a town was actually so expensive.

The initial investment alone required over 10,000 Gold. If one wanted the Town to operate properly, they would have to spend even more money.

Even if the mysteriously powerful Guild was filthy rich, none of the Guilds would have ever imagined that Zero Wing would get the job done in just a few days and open it to the public. 

"What?!"

"Stone Forest Town is open to outsiders? And it has a smithy that can repair equipment?!"

When the various teams in Stoneclaw Mountain received this information, they acted as if they had just found out that the sky was falling.

Stone Forest Town was just an hour away from the Stoneclaw Mountains. Even a round trip would just take two hours. It was far less time compared to the supply parties that took over ten hours to travel from Star-Moon City.

"Let's go; we're going to Stone Forest Town."

The leaders of the various teams immediately issued orders upon receiving this news and quickly made their way to Stone Forest Town.

In truth, they were going to Stone Forest Town not just to repair their equipment, but to hasten their Stamina and Concentration recovery as well. The recovery rate in the Field Tents was just too slow.

In just a few hours, the previously quiet Stone Forest Town became very lively. Looking at their merry spirits, it was as if they were celebrating New Year's Eve. 

They, however, had no idea that money was being scammed from them as soon as they walked into Stone Forest Town. 

Although more Guilds gathered in the Stoneclaw Mountains as time passed, none of them had any chance of capturing Stone Forest Town. If Feng limited entry to Zero Wing's, and possibly Ouroboros's members, both Guilds could obtain far more Magic Crystals than their competitors. 

Yet, Feng had chosen to permit everyone entry. 

At the end of the day, the Stoneclaw Mountains is only a Regional Dungeon. It is not the only place players can obtain Magic Crystals. Moreover, as everyone's levels increase, the various Guilds' core members will be able to use Mounts at Level 40.

Additionally, Feng didn't build Stone Forest Town just so they'd have easier access to obtaining more Magic Crystals. It's also meant as a start to earning money for the Guild from Towns and Cities. 

As for how Zero Wing will earn money from Stone Forest Town, since the products from the Candlelight Trading Firm in the Town won't generate enough money to make up for the loss, their true source of income came from the smithies, at which there had already formed very long lines outside of. 

Currently, there were hundreds of players outside the several smithies in the Advanced Town. Every one of them carried an entire team's worth of equipment. Several hundred players meant several hundred 100-man team's equipment. One could just imagine how profitable the equipment repair business was.

However, Zero Wing doesn't claim the smithies' repair fees and only collects fixed taxes, while all the properties in the Town are under Feng's control with him having merely hired NPCs to man the smithy and repair equipment. He thus had the final say on the prices, and Feng had increased the smithies' repair fees by ten times. These players can decide whether or not they want to pay the fee to repair their equipment. 

It was not cheap to repair a piece of equipment. Repair fees were a Guild's largest expenditure. Raising the fees to ten times the original price would be fatal to a Guild.

Aside from paying tenfold the original repair fee, though, there is another method of payment. This is something that can only be done in a Guild Town. Not only is it possible to pay for items and services using Credits in a Guild Town, but it is also possible to use certain items such as Magic Crystals as a form of currency. If they pay with Magic Crystals, considering the current market value, the repair fees will cost 0.5 times the usual rate, making it actually cheaper that way. Meanwhile, all of the Magic Crystals the smithies receive will belong to Zero Wing. Feng just needs to pay some Coins in return. 

If he set the repair fees at market rate, the Guilds would not be willing to use Magic Crystals due to their scarcity and the current demand. Meanwhile, 0.5 times the market rate was just barely within the various large Guilds' budgets.

Hence, the Guilds who had lined up outside the smithy to repair their equipment were gnashing their teeth while they waited.

With more than 10,000 pieces of equipment needing repairs, just how many Magic Crystals would it cost?

With such an arrangement, the various large Guilds are currently earning Magic Crystals for Zero Wing, which was why Feng had so generously allowed the various Guilds to enter Stone Forest Town.

Furthermore, this was just the start. Soon, they will discover that, the moment they set foot in Stone Forest Town, the Magic Crystals in their inventories ceased to belong to them. 

In fact, the hotel and leisure centers employed a similar business model as well. These establishments' prices were set according to being less if one paid with Magic Crystals, but fivefold to tenfold when using Coins. In other words, Stone Forest Town had already become a goldmine for Magic Crystals.

Meanwhile, the various large Guilds in Stone Forest Town were complaining about and gnashing their teeth at Zero Wing. However, they were utterly helpless against the Guild as Stone Forest Town was under Zero Wing's control. Helpless, they could only hand over a portion of the Magic Crystals they had obtained. After all, they could earn more Magic Crystals during the time they saved by traveling here rather than to Star-Moon City. Overall, they would still earn more than they had been.

Appearing at the entrance of the World Summit, Feng quickly looked around nervously as if expecting some kind of danger to come at him. 

"What's got you so anxious? And why did you change your appearance?" Seeing his behavior, Ruoxi asked with a raised eyebrow, noticing that Feng had changed his face and presence before going through the Gate of Darkness. 

"Nothing. Seems like we're in the clear." Feng breathed a sigh of relief after seeing no Fallen Angel swoop down to him. He had already been informed by Violet of Serena's eager wait for him to arrive at the World Summit, as well as Black Flame telling him through their connection that the horny girl had checked his group for Feng's presence. 

Thinking that Serena would pounce on him the moment she caught him in her sights, Feng had used the Demon Mask to change his face and aura while disguising it with the Nightwalker's Cape's Nightwalker Passive Skill. 

As a Legendary item, even Serena would not be able to see past the concealment provided by the Nightwalker's Cape unless she put a lot of effort into it, so had the Tier 5 Fallen Angel shown up to grab him and satisfy her urges, the disguise would have fooled the winged woman during her basic observation. 

Although Feng was going to stick to his word and fulfill their agreement by spending some time with the Fallen Angel and fucking her silly, he had other pressing matters to attend to at the moment, hence Feng planned on leaving the pummeling of Serena's pussy for later. 

Moreover, Feng wouldn't allow the Fallen Angel to take control of their sexual relationship, leaving when and where they fucked to be on his terms, lest Serena begins to harbor thoughts of being the one in charge. If he wanted to use the Tier 5 powerhouse for his purposes, Feng had to make sure that he keeps Serena on a tight leash, leaving the horny girl sex deprived and desiring him. 

Thus it would be a bit problematic if Serena were to come down here and recognize him, since she could just grab Feng without him being able to resist the Tier 5 Fallen Angel, and he wouldn't be able to give a proper excuse either. 

Thankfully, it seemed that after being disappointed two times in a row by Feng not being among the players who came to the World Summit, Serena didn't bother flying to check the Gate of Darkness since she couldn't sense Feng's presence; which he had suppressed and disguised. 

Feng then went back to his Ye Feng look and led the Zero Wing members to take their Party Tests. There weren't as many players in their batch this time around, so they all got through it quickly in smaller teams, making sure everybody got the most amount of time possible. 

Obtaining a Legendary Key and over one hundred thousand minutes, Feng planned on heading directly to the Legendary Shrines, but first made a pit stop at the Divine Hall. 

At the moment, an incredible blue haired great beauty was leisurely relaxing at the entrance of the Divine Hall, seemingly waiting for someone. 

"Are you ready to go?" Feng asked as he approached Aqua, who, according to their plans, was standing by for him to arrive. 

"Yes. I've already gone as far as I'm able to on the Divine Staircase. There's nothing more that I can gain here." Giving him a small nod, Aqua confirmed and walked over to Feng as well. 

"In that case, let's depart." Unequipping the Legendary ranked Blood Emperor's Armor, Feng spread out his giant wings, raising a cloud of dust, and extended a hand to the beauty. 

Taking his hand, Aqua was brought into Feng's embrace, entering a passionate moment as Feng picked her up and flapped his wings, rising in the air. 

Moving at an extraordinary speed, Feng flew up the mountain, heading directly to the peak of the World Summit. With Feng's current attributes and the size of his wings, the flying speed that Feng was capable of soaring at surpassed even most Tier 5 beings. 

Hence this could be made into a fairly quick journey up the World Summit considering players usually needed days to reach the Legendary Shrine area, but Feng refrained from going at his fastest speed since it's very tiring, consuming a lot of Stamina and Concentration to move at such a pace, especially for longer periods of time. 

It would also be dangerous to Aqua, who was still only a Tier 0 player, if they moved through the Inferior Legendary Shrine region and immediately traveled to the Legendary Shrines without giving her time to adapt to the enormous pressure in those areas. 

While flying upwards in a diagonal position with Aqua on his chest as he held her in a princess carry, Feng brought up the guild channel for the Burning Wing Legion and checked how the progression of collecting the treasures on the World Summit was going from the list of items that had been crossed out, but his eyebrows twitched after looking through the things his guild members had nabbed. 

"You guys really looted all the Flying Mounts without leaving any for me." Feng couldn't help feeling slightly wronged after seeing that nearly all the valuable items had already been taken by the restored Zero Wing members, particularly feeling regretful for the few Flying Mounts available on the World Summit, all of which had been claimed before he arrived. 

"Too bad I guess. You should have known everyone would take full advantage of the chance to pioneer the Shrines and grab everything." Giggling slightly at Feng's reaction, Aqua thought it was only natural for their guildmates to have quickly picked out and grabbed all the most valuable things. 

Flying Mounts were extremely valuable, especially for players like them. 

Due to players' limited Stamina, they could only afford to operate within a limited area. With how large God's Domain was, trying to explore the game's maps by relying on Stamina would be impossible. Naturally, Mounts allowed players to increase their range of activity.

Furthermore, after Level 50, not many maps had teleportation points, and players would find even fewer as they explored higher-level maps. As a result, players would have to explore and find these maps on their own power, which made Mounts even more important. 

Mysterious-Iron Mounts would soon be heavily contested by all experts, while Secret-Silver Mounts would easily be as valuable as Epic items.

In the future, even if the top-tier experts had several Epic Weapons and Equipment pieces on them, they would typically only have Secret-Silver or Fine-Gold ranked Mounts. Even so, these Mounts were a large part of the reason that their leveling speed would be so much faster than ordinary experts'. 

However, a Flying Mount was in a different league than Land Mounts. A Flying Mount could ignore the terrain and travel to a destination in a straight line, so naturally such a method of travel would be several times faster than riding on Land Mounts. 

God's Domain was a virtual reality game that fully immersed its players' consciousness into the game, unlike past virtual reality games, which only allowed partial immersion. Because of this, God's domain felt frighteningly real. In addition, it had NPCs with incredible intelligence, which players could befriend.

If not for the ever-present system interface and in-game aspects, such as levels and Basic Attributes, players would've likely treated God's Domain as a second real world.

And countless people dreamed of flying through the sky.

Based on the information from their previous life, Flying Mounts were intensely difficult to obtain in God's Domain. Unlike Land Mounts, players couldn't use their Coins to purchase Flying Mounts from NPCs. 

Hence, the restored members with the greatest strength had all naturally rushed for the Flying Mounts. As long as they obtained a Flying Mount, their future challenges would be many times easier to complete. 

This was because, aside from their ability to fly, get around dangerous terrain, and incredible speed, Flying Mounts were also very capable fighters with many unique abilities. Moreover, they all started off at Level 100. 

Additionally, Flying Mounts are different in the fact that they have their own experience bar. Their owners have to summon them in order for the mount to earn experience points. Compared to players, Flying Mounts require lesser Exp and are able to evolve through their tiers, depending on their rank and limit, simply by leveling up.

Flying Mounts didn't follow the same ranks as Land Mounts. They were split into Common, Extraordinary, Legendary, and Mythical ranks. Aside from the four major ranks, Flying Mounts fell into three minor ranks: Basic, Intermediate, and Advanced. However, one had to summon their Mount before they would learn which minor rank it belonged to.

Meanwhile, these ranks represented the Growth Potential of Flying Mounts.

Flying Mounts were similar to Guild Mounts in that players could continue to nurture their growth. It was even possible to nurture a Flying Mount into a Tier 6 God. However, nurturing Flying Mounts was far more difficult than nurturing a Guild Mount.

Most Common Flying Mounts reached their limit after growing to Tier 3 Peak-rank and getting them that far would cost an astronomical amount of resources. They only had a 3% chance at breaking through to Tier 4. Extraordinary Flying Mounts, however, could easily reach Tier 3 Peak-rank and had a 30% chance of climbing to Tier 4. It also had potential to reach Tier 5. 

In addition, the two ranks started at different tiers. Common Flying Mounts started as Tier 2, while Extraordinary Flying Mounts started as Tier 3.

Even a Common Flying Mount was as valuable as three pieces of Level 100-plus Epic Equipment. Moreover, that had been the common exchange rate after Flying Mounts had become more common. When Flying Mounts had first appeared in the past, a Common Flying Mount could've easily gone for five pieces of Level 100-plus Epic Equipment. But they were far more difficult to obtain. 

On the World Summit, however, players could obtain a few of them from the Shrines. 

There were a total of seven Common Flying Mounts available among the Shrines, four Basic ones among the topmost Epic Shrines along with one Intermediate one, while the remaining Intermediate and Advanced Common Flying Mounts were within the lower region of Inferior Legendary Shrines; 

Extraordinary Flying Mounts numbered four on the World Summit, two Basic ones being within the middle region of the Inferior Legendary Shrine area, an Intermediate Extraordinary ranked within the upper Infeior Legendary Shrines, and one Advanced Extraordinary Flying Shrine among the very topmost Inferior Legendary Shrines. 

Apart from those, a Basic Legendary Flying Mount resided in the highest Legendary Shrine. 

Greatly surpassing Common and Extraordinary Flying Mounts, Legendary Mounts were much rarer and more valuable, with not even one hundred Advanced Extraordinary being capable of measuring up to just one Basic Legendary Flying Mount. 

Legendary Flying Mounts started off at Tier 4 and even the Basic ones had an over 80% chance of reaching Tier 5 and a 20% chance to get promoted into a Tier 6 being. Intermediate and Advanced Legendary Flying Mounts were guaranteed to reach Tier 5, the former having a 50% chance to become Tier 6 and the latter over 80%, in actuality being practically certain that it will reach Tier 6 at some point as long as sufficient resources were provided. 

The strength of Legendary Flying Mounts was also worlds beyond lower-ranking Flying Mounts. 

Although Feng had the option to take one of the Common Flying Mounts during his first trip to the World Summit instead of going for one of the other two Epic Shrines that he had visited, a mere Common Flying Mount would be useless to him, and even Extraordinary Flying Mounts would be of little to no help when it came to someone of Feng's capabilities.
