Amelia Charlie followed Violet Taylor into the nursing home.
Old Mrs. Charlie had been in a long-term coma, occasionally regaining consciousness. They arrived just in time, as Old Mrs. Charlie had just awakened, holding Anthony Charlie's hand, speaking to him.
Amelia stood outside the sickroom, looking at Old Mrs. Charlie's aged and frail face, silent for a long time.
Until Violet Taylor couldn't stand it any longer, she pushed open the door and entered.
After entering, Old Mrs. Charlie turned her head to look. Upon seeing Violet Taylor, her expression didn't change much. Instead, when she caught sight of Amelia behind Violet, she smiled, "Amelia, dear, come over!"
Amelia's expression relaxed a bit, and she took a couple of steps into the room. Still reluctant, tangled in her feelings, she heard Old Mrs. Charlie speak, "What's wrong, Amelia? Are you unhappy? Did you get upset at school? Let your brother help you."
