It was still Arthur Lindsey's initial response.

Ella Lacey felt that this answer, although lovely, was also too vague.
Was it hiding something?
She scratched her head and lazily leaned into Arthur Lindsey's arms, murmuring weakly, "Arthur, did we leave too suddenly? Mum and the little one still don't know, right?"
"Don't worry. I informed them last night," Arthur Lindsey's starry eyes sparkled with intoxicating shimmer.
Ella became immersed in his gentle gaze and suddenly realized, "So I was the only one left in the dark!"
"Now you know everything, right?"
Arthur Lindsey leaned down, his tall nose touching Ella's small nostrils, affectionately wiggling, making the air itself seem to evaporate sweetness.
Ella felt ticklish, slightly flushed, her little face turning red, she whispered close to his ear, "Arthur, Uncle is still in front, you know."
"He can't see us."
