"Travis, I am here to pick you up," Maximillian announced.
A loud thud was heard, followed by a string of groans from the people whom the rowdy prisoner abused just now.
"Chief!" Travis sputtered. "Welcome back from your vacation!"
Maximillian scoffed.
"Thank you for the warm welcome. I see that you have not lost your touch during my absence."
He gestured toward the guards, who quickly crawled away from Travis in fear.
"A-Agent Grant," one of them stammered. "He... He..."
"Release him," Maximillian said with a soft sigh. "I shall be responsible for him."
The guard obeyed without much resistance. He swiped his card against the prison door's card reader and it snapped open, allowing Travis Beck to leave.
"Tsk."
Travis clicked with his tongue.
"If they don't want to get burned, they should not play with fire."
Maximillian pulled him out of his cell and dragged him out of the prison area.
