[scene : Colt, Luna and the Starleas are heading to the mansion, the four of them walking side by side in the sunset]
Luc : "We really can't thank you enough, this domain, these people, owe you a greater debt than we can ever repay."
Colt : "It was a simple favor for a friend, leave it at that, and don't ever tell anyone."
Luc : "Why? We owe you, you can become a noble, you can have everything you want. We have to repay you somehow."
*Colt lets out a sarcastic laughter*
Colt : "A noble? Is that what you think I want? I don't need power or status or money. No one, in this entire world, can control me. I have everything I want already. If you want to repay me, then keep this a tight lipped secret."
Lea : "But, that's not enough!"
Colt : "Then allow me to ask something."
Lea : "Go ahead"
Colt : "What's with your mom?"
Lea : "Oh, that."
[flash back with Lea as narrator]
[scene : a little Ellie standing in the street watching people, people have different colors : red, green, yellow, pink, brown..etc]
Lea : "From a young age, my mother realized she could see things other people don't… she could see the soul of a person, and based on the color or colors, she could tell what drives them. And based on how dark they are, the actions they took to get what they want."
[scene : Ellie turning down a man with a dark green aura]
Lea : "She used her powers at first to avoid bad people."
[scene : Ellie in the mansion, kneeling in front of Victor and Violet]
Lea : "Then, she decided to dedicate her powers for the greater good. She came to my father, offered her powers, and father accepted."
[scene : People are leaving the mansion, some overjoyed, some disappointed, some in despair and in shackles]
Lea : "Mother helped this domain prosper, knowing who has good intentions and who was a threat, who's guilty and who's not."
[scene : Violet hugging Ellie and talking to Victor]
Lea : "Aunt Violet convinced my father to take my mother as a concubine out of gratefulness for all she's done, and to protect her."
[end of flash back]
Lea : "And you know the rest, *starts crying* now, thanks to you, my mother can walk again, how can I repay that?"
*Luna hugs Lea, Lea cries her eyeballs out*
Luc [touching Colt's shoulder] : "We are truly grateful, please, let us repay some of what we owe."
Colt : "I don't want anything though."
Luc : "There must be something."
Colt [removing Luc's hand] : "How about we settle for this : when I want something, I'll tell you."
Luc : "Thank you."
*Back in the mansion*
[scene : Victor is in the garden having tea, Colt, Luna, Luc and Lea take a seat, a maid pours them tea]
Victor : "How did it go??"
Luc : "Unbelievable, all our problems are solved, Colt even told me how to stop something like that from happening again."
Victor : "We owe you a great debt."
Not this again.
Colt : "I discussed it with Luc, like father like son indeed."
Luc : "Where's mother?"
Victor : "Violet is with Ellie enjoying a walk on the beach, the guards are with them so they're safe."
Makes sense.
Colt : "Now that the truth is out, I have been curious about something for a while."
*Everyone listens attentively*
Colt : "Lea, how are you not affected by that she-devil's tricks?"
Luna : "You're not letting it go."
Colt : "Never."
Lea : "You mean Diana?"
Colt : "Yes."
Luc : "But she's nice and elegant and kind and-"
Colt : "Let me stop you there, lover boy."
*Victor and Luna barely hold back their laughs*
Colt : "Wake up, it's all a façade and Lea knows it. I told you, you still have a lot to learn."
Lea : "Sorry brother, but he's right."
Lea[to Colt] : "I've been treated poorly by other nobles my entire life. If it wasn't for my father and brother defending me… so, I know that despite their words most of them are horrible."
Luc : "But, she never treated anyone poorly, she's nice, she doesn't care about status either."
Oh my god.
Colt [to Luna] : "Give it to him"
*A while later*
Luc [in denial] : "Are you sure? Maybe you're misinterpreting or-"
Colt : "Luna has a special power too, she can tell someone's intentions and feelings, on top of that she's very wise. That's why I never question her judgement, that's why we told you she was an elf in the first place."
Luc [sulking] : "Why do you enjoy torturing me?"
Colt : "If I really didn't care what happened to you, I wouldn't have said anything. But it would be sad if this domain crumbles after we put in so much effort, talk about an inefficient waste."
*Victor's eyes send a silent message of gratitude*
Colt [looking at him] : "You can't protect him forever, instead, why not teach him the rains?"
Victor : "I never considered it before.."
Colt : "Listen to me, life is short, it could end at any moment, wasting it being on bad terms with your loved ones is not wise*his tone lowers a bit* I know that first hand."
*Luna holds his hand.*
*After a while of everyone reflecting on Colt's words*
Victor : "I'm also curious about something, you didn't escape that orc."
Why is it so important? Ugh fine
Colt : "I stopped it in its tracks, then burned it to ash."
Victor : "Thank you."
*Luc looks at Colt in awe*
Colt : "Why are you surprised? You've already seen the spell."
*A few days later*
We went on another tour a few days later, smiles were all over the place, Luc and Lea were showered with praise.
[scene : People surrounding Luc and Lea in a celebrative mood]
The look on those faces, getting praise for something they didn't do with their high sense of honor... priceless.
We got more bread, only this time, it was big, heavy and filling, nice work us.
And now, it's time to leave.
[scene : Everyone is gathered in the living room]
*Colt and Luna enter the room, carrying a few bags*
Victor [standing up] : "What's all this?"
Colt [smiling] : "We came to say goodbye."
Violet : "You're leaving so soon?"
Luna : "We discussed it and, we've done what we came to do and more. And, I miss Edwin."
Luc : "But we still need time to arrange carriages and-"
Colt : "No need to trouble yourselves."
*Opens a gate*
*Everyone gasps in awe*
Colt : "This leads straight to our home."
Victor : "Impossible."
*Colt shrugs*
Ellie : "I can't thank you enough *goes to hug Luna* live a happy long life dear."
Colt : "Oh, I have a good idea about what you see when looking at me. But what do you see when looking at Luna?"
Ellie : "Light, beautiful, warm, bright white light."
Colt : "Knew it!"
*Luna blushes*
Ellie : "When I look at you two together, Your soul seems much brighter."
Colt [smiles] : "Thank you*to Luc* see you at the academy."
*They walk through the gate*
