Yami had a smirk on his face as he lazily hovered in the sky, his giant black wings beating slowly behind him. His eyes gleamed with excitement as he looked down at the two massive ships approaching — one bearing the flag of the Beast Pirates, led by Jack the Drought, and the other flying the emblem of the Big Mom Pirates, led by Charlotte Smoothie.
"Two commanders at once, huh? This should be fun," Yami murmured under his breath, amusement flickering across his face.
He gripped his giant netherite sword with one hand and pointed it downward. Instantly, blue flames erupted from the blade, surging like a roaring tidal wave towards the two ships, setting the sea ablaze in their path.
On the Big Mom Pirates' ship, Smoothie calmly raised her hands, her palms covered in a glistening layer of Armament Haki. As the flames neared, she activated her Devil Fruit powers, gripping the searing fire as though it were liquid. The flames twisted and squirmed in her grasp, transforming into sparkling juice that dripped into a container held by her crewmates.
Smoothie narrowed her eyes at the figure in the sky. "What is this guy doing here?" she muttered under her breath, annoyance creeping into her voice. She compressed the now-deflated ball of blue fire and casually tossed it into the ocean, where it dissipated harmlessly.
Meanwhile, Jack had already shifted into his full mammoth form. His massive trunk pointed toward the incoming fire, and with a mighty bellow, he unleashed a massive gust of wind that blasted the flames apart.
Yami flew forward leisurely, now hovering in front of both ships. "YAHAHAHAHAHAHA, As expected of Yonko Commanders," he said mockingly. "You can actually defend yourselves."
Smoothie stepped forward, her eyes focused on him. "Why are you attacking us? We've done nothing to provoke you," she called out, her voice firm and commanding.
Yami shrugged nonchalantly. "Just for fun," he replied with a grin. His tone was casual, as if discussing the weather.
Jack, still in mammoth form, trumpeted loudly. "Fight me head-on, you flying bastard!"
Yami didn't even spare him a glance. "Tsk. Noisy mammoth," he muttered.
Instead, he landed gracefully on Smoothie's ship, folding his massive wings behind him. His eyes scanned Smoothie up and down before lingering briefly on her long, elegant legs.
"Heh," Yami smirked. "You look even more beautiful in person than on your wanted poster."
Smoothie's brows furrowed slightly in confusion and irritation, but Yami simply met her gaze, his expression serious now.
"I have an offer for you," Yami said, tilting his head slightly. "Join my crew, Smoothie."
Shock rippled through the Big Mom Pirates' crew. Gasps filled the air.
"Did he just—?"
"Is he crazy?!"
"He's asking Commander Smoothie to join him?!"
Smoothie herself was stunned for a moment, blinking slowly at Yami's audacity. But before she could answer, Yami lifted a hand, signaling her to wait.
"Hold that thought," he said casually. "I have to deal with that idiot mammoth first."
Without wasting a second, Yami flapped his wings and soared into the sky, heading straight towards Jack, who had begun launching powerful air blasts from his trunk. Yami deflected each gust effortlessly with swift swings of his netherite sword, blue sparks flying.
"You're not even worth my serious attention," Yami said with a smirk.
Stretching his hand out, Yami summoned several strange, egg-like objects that launched towards Jack's ship. As they landed, the eggs cracked open, releasing a horde of one hundred iron golems that immediately began rampaging through Jack's crew.
Screams and shouts of terror echoed from the Beast Pirates' ship.
Yami suddenly appeared right in front of Jack, who was mid-charge.
"Let's fight elsewhere," Yami said, his voice low and dangerous.
Before Jack could react, Yami grabbed him by the trunk and hurled an Ender Pearl toward the distant shore of Punk Hazard. In an instant, both Yami and Jack disappeared in a flash of light, reappearing on the broken, icy landscape of Punk Hazard.
Jack bellowed in rage and charged at Yami, his tusks gleaming with haki.
Yami floated easily above him, dodging the attack with minimal effort. He chuckled, the blue flames from his wings crackling menacingly.
"The mammoth fruit will be a fine addition to my collection," Yami said, his voice dripping with amusement.
Jack twisted his massive body and lunged again. But Yami was faster. His fists, coated heavily in Armament Haki, slammed together and crashed into Jack's massive face from the side with tremendous force.
BOOM!
Jack stumbled, spit flying from his mouth as he crashed into the ground.
'Ancient Zoan defense is pretty damn tough,' Yami thought with a smirk.
Jack roared, shaking the island, and struggled to his feet. But Yami was already a step ahead. He pointed his hand toward Jack, and obsidian tendrils, glowing with a sinister light, shot out from thin air.
"Obsidian Binding!" Yami shouted.
The black tendrils wrapped tightly around Jack, forming shackles that constricted his massive body. Jack growled and flexed his immense strength, the obsidian beginning to crack.
But before Jack could break free, Yami appeared right in front of him, a devilish grin on his face as he reinforced the obsedian with haki.
"I'm not like the protagonists in those anime you see," Yami said coldly to the Readers. "I don't waste entire episodes fighting."
With a roar, Yami plunged his netherite sword, now coated in an even thicker layer of Haki, straight into Jack's open mouth.
"Good night," Yami whispered.
Blue flames erupted from the blade, surging straight into Jack's body.
Jack let out an ear-piercing scream, thrashing and struggling wildly against the bindings. Yami reinforced the obsidian shackles with more haki, while summoning several iron golems to hold Jack down.
The ground beneath them sizzled and cracked from the intensity of the flames.
After several agonizing moments, Jack's strength began to wane. His massive body slumped in defeat.
Yami calmly pulled the sword out, his expression unmoved. He stretched out a hand, dark energy swirling around his fingers.
"Seal," he commanded.
A flash of dark light engulfed Jack. His body twisted grotesquely, shrinking smaller and smaller until— POP! —he was transformed into a small photograph, captured mid-roar, his eyes wide in disbelief.
Yami picked up the photograph casually and slid it into his inventory, right beside Doflamingo's picture.
He turned his gaze towards Jack's ship, where the iron golems had completely subdued the terrified Beast Pirates.
Yami then shifted his eyes back to Smoothie, who was staring at him from the deck of her ship, utterly stunned by the scene she had just witnessed.
A wide, wolfish grin spread across Yami's face.
