Shen Yi pursed his lips, "It was the day after Chaochao was born."
Ye Wanwan looked at Shen Yi, not sure what to say; she had no idea about this, how did he even think to do it?
"Why did you go and have this procedure done?" Ye Wanwan thought to herself and couldn't help but ask out loud.
At this point, Shen Yi's expression slightly changed as he looked at Ye Wanwan, then lifted his hand and gently touched her head.
"I've always known how tough it's been for you, being pregnant was tough, and giving birth was too. But that day, I was with you in the delivery room and saw firsthand how much pain you were in."
Shen Yi looked at Ye Wanwan with eyes full of distress. Ye Wanwan felt slightly uncomfortable under his gaze and muttered quietly, "Actually, it wasn't too bad."
