The days passed as usual.
Penny didn't think much about Cassandra's case or her first life. Thanks to her assistants, her mood had improved, and she was able to work without any problems. Surely, all it took for her to get back on track was a good feast.
"I guess I should call it a day," she whispered, glancing at the time. It was almost five now. Penny started preparing to leave for the day.
After the competition, her workload had lightened. She could afford to relax for a bit.
But just as Penny decided to stop dwelling on it and move on with her life, she paused and gazed at her computer. Pursing her lips, she let out another sharp and heavy sigh.
"It's no harm to check," she muttered, sitting back in her chair and visiting the web. "I don't think it's going to affect my mood at this point."
