The battle didn't slow down.
If anything, it got worse.
The beasts had stopped charging blindly and were now fighting with everything they had left. Rage. Desperation. Bloodlust.
They threw themselves at the Unified Army like wild storms—claws out, fangs flashing, spiritual energy tearing through the air.
But the humans didn't back down.
The Unified soldiers stood their ground.
They didn't yell.
They didn't panic.
They just moved.
A young spear user, Captain Hao, ducked under a sweeping claw and drove his spear upward in one fluid motion.
The weapon pierced the beast's shoulder, but it didn't stop. It roared and swung again.
Hao twisted, pulling the spear out with a hard yank and spinning to the side.
"Line rotation, now!" he barked.
Two soldiers behind him stepped forward in perfect sync. One raised a shield, catching the next strike. The other slammed a glowing talisman onto the beast's chest.
The seal exploded, locking the beast's Qi for two seconds.
