"Wait a minute!!" At that moment, a gruff voice echoed through the auditorium corridor.
Everyone turned to see a towering figure standing in the doorway. His massive frame blocked most of the entrance, making him appear even more intimidating.
"Ahhhh!!!"
As the crowd's eyes landed on him, several girls covered their faces and screamed. Before them stood a muscular man clad only in boxer shorts, glaring at the scene before him with unrestrained anger.
Across the ring, Jessie froze, her expression shifting drastically as she noticed the man. Her legs tensed instinctively, a rare moment of fear crossing her face.
"Wo-wo-wo-wo-wo-wo-wo-wo—what's going on here?!" James stammered, gasping for air as panic overtook him.
Brock emerged from behind the giant, his brows furrowed in suspicion as he scrutinized the man's disheveled appearance. Moments earlier, during a quick trip to the restroom, Brock had encountered this stranger after accidentally opening a toilet cubicle.
The giant descended the stairs of the auditorium with thunderous steps, heading directly toward the ring. As Hitmonlee stood to confront him, the giant's face betrayed a flash of surprise before his gaze turned sharply toward Jessie and James, who were standing near the passage.
"Ah! A bizarre man with no clothes has barged into the match!" The commentator exclaimed, unable to contain his shock.
"Watch your mouth! I'm no pervert—I'm the real deal! These impostors are the fakes!" the man bellowed, pointing accusingly at Jessie and James as he stomped toward them.
"Sir, you need to leave immediately!" A group of staff rushed forward to intervene. However, the man roared in defiance, charging at them with the ferocity of a wild Ursaring. The staff were no match for his brute strength and were effortlessly shoved aside.
"Run!!" Jessie shrieked, signaling James to retreat. But James, helpless and struggling, found himself immobilized as Jessie unintentionally clamped his head between her arms in her panic.
The giant lunged forward and grabbed Jessie's trench coat, yanking it violently.
"Ahhh!!!"
Jessie let out a startled scream as she was forcefully pulled off James, tumbling to the ground. James, caught in the momentum, fell with her, leaving the pair sprawled in a heap on the floor.
The giant revealed his true identity as he grabbed the coat from Jessie and draped it over his massive shoulders. He then picked up his hat from the ground, completing his ensemble.
"Did you see that?! These two impostors dared to pretend to be me and entered the competition!" the giant bellowed, his voice echoing across the auditorium. The spectators were stunned by the turn of events, whispering among themselves in disbelief. It was now clear—the supposed "giant" competing all along had been a fraud.
Jessie and James had been clever in their deception, using hats to obscure their faces and avoid detection. But their cover was blown, leaving everyone in shock.
"I can't believe this! The giant who competed in the tournament was a fake all along! But who are these two?" the commentator exclaimed, his voice filled with astonishment.
"Team Rocket?!" Misty's voice rang out from the crowd as recognition dawned on her.
"Team Rocket?" Rebecca, seated beside her, asked in confusion.
"Yes, those two are bad news! They specialize in stealing other people's Pokémon!" Misty explained, her tone laced with frustration. "I never thought they'd stoop to posing as contestants!"
Brock joined Misty and Rebecca in the stands. Seeing him, Misty turned and asked, "Brock, how did you know it was Team Rocket pretending to be the giant?"
"It wasn't me," Brock replied, shaking his head. "Ash must have figured it out earlier. When I went to the restroom, I found the real giant locked inside. I only pieced things together after I helped him."
"So it was Ash!" Misty said, nodding in understanding. She wasn't surprised—Ash always had a knack for uncovering Team Rocket's schemes.
Jessie, furious and humiliated, stood and clenched her fists. "You little brat! We were so close to succeeding!" she growled. "Fine then, we'll just take the championship belt and prize money by force!"
The giant stepped forward, his knuckles cracking ominously as he glared at Jessie and James. "You won't get away with this!" he declared, his voice booming with righteous anger. It was clear that being tricked and locked up had been a blow to his pride, and he wasn't going to let it slide.
Jessie and James exchanged nervous glances. The sheer size and strength of the giant made a direct confrontation seem hopeless. James gulped audibly. "What do we do now?" he whispered, his voice trembling.
Suddenly, a voice called out.
"Pi-ka-chu!!" Pikachu emerged from under the ring, carrying a strange device. The sight of the little Electric-type Pokémon instantly shifted the mood.
"Pi-ka-CHUUU!!" Pikachu cried out, his cheeks sparking with electricity.
"Huh? Ah! Do you want to give this back to me? Thank you, Meowth?" Meowth said absentmindedly, reaching out to take the familiar device without a second thought.
Pikachu gave a polite nod, as if saying "You're welcome," and waved slightly before turning around, exuding a calm and collected demeanor. Meowth squinted his eyes, grinning widely in gratitude—until his expression froze.
"Wait... wait a minute, meow! This... this is!!!" His eyes widened in horror as he realized what he was holding. The device's button began to blink ominously in red.
Boom! Boom! Boom!
"Aaaahhhhhh!!!" A surge of electricity erupted from the device, enveloping Meowth, Jessie, and James in a crackling storm of energy. The trio's anguished cries filled the air as they were helplessly drawn into the chaos.
BOOM!!!
The device finally overloaded, culminating in a massive explosion. The force launched the three villains skyward, smashing through the ceiling as debris scattered around the auditorium.
"Team Rocket's Blasting off again!!!" They all wailed as they vanished into the distance.
