This year's Luxies are officially a wrap, and the words "smashing viewer records" fly around. Also, "smash hit," "great television," and "Consortium did us all a favor."
The after-party is held in the palace in Xanadu just to distinguish it from the regular awards gala. The celebration spills over into the gardens, and I can tell that everything from now on can be summed up in two little words.
No limits.
Everyone seems to party harder, dance more wildly, drink more, and generally let loose because the Consortium stuck their noses in our business. I ask Daji about this and she rolls her eyes, going back for seconds at the chocolate fountain because we really didn't eat dessert in all the tumult. "Gods are even worse about being told what to do than humans."
