Chapter 7 - Chapter 6

(A/n: was drunk when I made this which is why it's long, so enjoy hahaha)

Chapter 6: The Reunion and finally his reward to them.

"Sister...?" Flora murmured under her breath, a low surprised and shocked gasp escaping out of her lip's.

Christina didn't hear here sister call her, it was a whisper after all. She also was to concerned about Ms Vanessa.

Speaking of her, vanessa dropped to one knee, pain etched across her face. Her breath hitched, blood was crusted on her lip where Noah's foot had connected just moments ago.

"Ms. Vanessa!" Christina's voice cracked with panic, her elegant boot's clapping on the stone road, as she bolted to her side.

"Are you alright?!" Roanna crouched beside her instantly as soon as got close, placing a hand on her back.

Celia dropped to her knees as she also got close, inspecting for injury's.

They forgot about the civilian's she accidentally hit. There semi pain not important to them right now.

And Flora… the moment she saw her sister, her eyes welled up, and she ran straight into the huddle, throwing her arms around her stunned sister.

"I-I thought I'd never see you again…"

Christina eye's also welled as she tightly hugged her sister. her tone was low and shakey as she spoke with concern. "I...I was so scared you w-were dead or something!"

Celia also chimed in her voice a mix of concern, and worry. "Your not hurt anywhere right, princess flora."

Flora came out of the hug a little, her gaze shifting to celia, a small smile gracing her futures. "Miss celia, it's good seeing you. And no I'm fine thank you for asking , miss celi—"

Before she could finish, a voice cut in like a blade through silk.

"Well, I wasn't gonna interrupt your reunion, so sorry. But damn….this one beautiful scene, lady's~"

They all turned in unison to the voice that was laced with applause and a drip of boredom.

What came into there view was....

Prince charming. Though honestly that was a sort of insult to his charm.

White-hair with small bangs over his sharp brow's and wine red-eyes, he was barefoot, and still wearing ragged slum clothes that still had there own charm on him. Noah had one hand in his pocket's, his other throwing up a pebble repeatedly. With that ever-so smug grin. Like this whole scene was just a mildly amusing soap opera to him.

Flora's expression lit up as she wiped her tear's a little. "That's him, sister, everyone! That's the boy who saved, and helped me!"

The girls looked confused, processing her word's. There immediate thoughts. ' how is he the one who saved you, he's just a kid?'.

Christina rose to her full height, lefting her sister as she rose to, her chin raised slightly. "And you are?"

"Name's Noah," he threw the pebble aside—then got into a small bow of mock elegance, "The golden, wonder boy, and a certified part-time savior of princesses, is at your service~"

Roanna, who also rose with christina stepped in front of the group, narrowing her eyes. "Are you sure you saved her, not anyone else?" She said, a bit of suspicion in her tone.

"I am very sure, Ms. blonde," he said with a stretch. "Would've worn something nicer for your noble eye's, but y'know, I was too lazy."

Before she could reply with even more questions, and gas him with shit for calling her Ms. Blonde, flora spoke up, her voice soft but clear, "it's true, he was the only one there when he took on my kidnapper's. I seen it after all." Her voice trembled at the memories that flooded her mind.

Which Christina felt—she tightened her hold on her sisters hand. A flicker of concern in her eye's.

Vanessa, still kneeling, glanced at him even more intently, the memory of the kick still fresh. " Well I sure believe you, that kick was pretty strong for a boy your age."

Noah gave her a deadpan look. "Appreciate it, Miss."

Christina frowned slightly, still finding it hard to believe him.

"....sigh." But she just shook her head, dismissing the unnecessary issue for now.

She asked another question instead. "You live here? In the slums?"

Noah gazed at her, a glint of surprise flashing through his eye's. 'Is....is she dumb?' His head tilted a little, he couldn't help but actually ask. " Not to be a cunt or anything, but are you by any chance mildly blind?"

"Wha-what!"

"I mean, don't you see my beautiful slum clothes?"

He opened his arm's a little wide, giving them a view of his clothing.

Christina was dumbfounded, never in her 7 year's of life has anyone outright called her basically dumb. And blind.

So her little ego was raging right now, and she responded in kind. "H-how dare a—ehmm!"

Flora, knowing her sister better then any other, coved her mouth before she said something she'll regret later. "Sister, he didn't mean to say it like that! Noah is from the slums so let's move from this, okay!"

Noah just shrugged with a smirk on his face seeing the first princess glaring dagger's at him.

She gave a "hmph!", as she looked away.

Celia observed everything, Vanessa and Rosanna doing the same, obviously they were offended to hearing someone call there friend, and there future queen basically dumb, but they still had a main mission to complete.

So celia did just that, reminding there two princess's about why they were here, gaining all of there attention. "Anyway, we should get going, the castle gate's aren't that far, so we should go let the king and your highness know we found the second princess.

They all nodded in agreement, noah being the only one who didn't.

He just turned and walked towards the gate's up ahead.

Rosanna chuckled. "Seems he's in a hurry, huh?"

Since Vanessa was sweet now, they all started walking behind noah, a tiny distance's between them.

---

Five minutes later, they made it to the heavy iron gates, it's tall walls loomed behind them, it's massive size holding something special about it and casting a shadow over the stoney path. Outside, standing by the gate in a fine, perfect ling, there armor gleaming from the slow sun setting, five guards stood tall, unease around them. Normally it'll be your normal two, but after the kidnapping, the king upped the security around the walls, hall's, basically around the whole place.

Noah stood a few feet away from the group, relaxed, both hands now in his pockets. His posture hadn't changed since he'd kicked Vanessa. If anything, the presence of armed guards made him feel… adrenaline.

A hidden grin twitched on his face, Hyped at the thought's that started spinning in his head. If someone from his world saw him right now they would know that face right away. If they watched the anime of course.

(A/n: it's the face light makes when he's spazzing out)

Vanessa, stepped forward, wipping Noah's grin right off his face, as his futures slowly turned back to his calm face.

Th guards, seeing Vanessa walking towards them, bowed in respect, a sign of her status in the kingdom.

The captain of the stationed guard's, raised his head, his voice showing his utmost respect. "Ms. Vanessa. I see your back from your search. Have you brought good news?"

"Yes. Inform His Majesty that we have brought princess flora back safely. "

The captain without a moment's hesitation, ordered one of his men to inform his Majesty quickly.

He also opened the gate's, letting them in with no problem's.

Okay, maybe only one, and that being his eye's never left noah when he finished ordering one of his men.

He was suspicious of him, noah didn't scream noble after all.

And when noah walked pass— or we could say tried to, before the captain stopped him, his hand all up in noahs face.

Which of course, made noah give him the bombastic side-eye of doom. "Y'know, it's pretty fucken rude putting your grubby ass hand's in someone's face."

His tone dripped with coldness, making the lady's Infront of him stop in there track's, quickly turning there head's to the commotion.

Though Noah's word's were cold, the captain didn't back down, he stood strong. "Only noble's are allowed to step through these gate's. That, with only the king's permission. Not Commoners."

Noah took a bigggg deep breath, thinking to himself. 'noah, he doesn't know you just saved there princess. It's also understandable why he would act like this. So don't get mad. Reason with him. Or better yet get the lady's to.' He tried to reason with himself, not tryna get mad over something this little, tryna not ruin his plans because of this pig of a ma—gentleman.

He rubbed the bridge of his nose, sighing. "Alright man, fair enough reason. Flora can you please do something before I—"

"Did you just hear that filthy commoner disrespect, princess flora." One of the Captain's guards whispered to the dude next to him. Even though he had armor on, he couldn't hide the disgust in his eye's that peeked threw the helmet.

His buddy next to him nodded, dicking riding the dude as he spoke. "Your so right, he's so disgusting for disrespecting the princess, how dare he right? If he did that to you, haaa...." He whispered back.

Noah, obviously heard them. You could say they were speaking right next to him.

So he put on his gentlest smile ever, and looked passed the captain, his gaze right at them. "Da fu—"

Flora stopped him, thankfully. She stepped Infront of him surprising the captain at this action, though timidly she still looked at the captain, her gaze not wavering one bit. "Captain, this boy is with me. He is also my savior!" She said softly.

Silence.

An awkward one at that.

Vanessa, Celia, Rosanna, and Christina, nodded saying in unison. "She's right!"

Making it even more awkward for them.

So, as not to embarrass themselves more, the captain bowed a little, his demeanor shifting swiftly. "My deepest apologies, young man. You may proceed. Hope you enjoy your stay!" Before he left, leaving that genuine apologie well he was at it.

The two dude's, straightened up, looked forward, and locked in. Forgetting noah entirely.

"Haaa.... " She let out a relieved sigh, "alright, let's go noah!". She turned to the dumbfounded noah, flashing a big smile.

Noah just stood there, watching as flora walked back to the other's, leaving him there for a few seconds.

'.....'

'y'know what, I'll think about this later.'

He then joined them, thanking flora for the asset soon as he got by her side.

---

The grand throne room of Beltrum was steeped in stillness.

King Phillip Beltrum 3rd sat high upon his throne, his head resting on one arm, seemingly in deep thought. Though cloaked in royal colors, the weary slump of his shoulders gave away the truth—his heart had not rested since his second youngest daughter had gone missing.

He was snapped out of his thoughts when he heard the double door's open.

A royal guard strode in, armor clanking, he dropped to one knee, as he got into his king's site, swiftly. "Your Majesty! Forgive the intrusion, but—Princess Flora has returned!"

The words hit like thunder.

Philip stood instantly, his tone dripping with authority, making the gaurd shiver. "Where is she?"

"She is on her way, Your Majesty. Alongside Princess Christina, Ms. Celia, Lady Roanna… and Miss Vanessa."

The king did not wait another second.

He made his way to meet them the guard not far back, leaving the throne room empty.

---

Moments Later.

The ornate double doors of the castle opened, revealing the five young women in noble robe's, their expressions softened with relief.

And behind them—hands in his pockets, was Noah.

The king stood not far before them, his focus was on only one thing.

"Flora!"

Philip descended before them without hesitation and enveloped his daughter in a tight embrace. His hands trembled as he touched her face, as if confirming she was real.

"I....I thought I lost you," he whispered.

"I'm sorry for causing you worry, Father…" Flora murmured, burying her face into his chest. "But I'm here."

Tears gathered in her eyes again, and for a moment, the room held nothing but a father's love.

Everyone let them have there moment, smile's gracing there future's. Other then noah, who stood there watching everything carefully.

---

When the moment passed, Vanessa took a step forward, swiftly getting on one knee. "Your Majesty… if I may…"

Philip looked up, slowly regaining his composure. "Speak, Ms. Vanessa."

"We have returned your daughter safely, but not through our own strength. There is someone else you must thank."

The king blinked. "Someone else?"

She nodded, "Without this boy. " She pointed behind her, and the other's. "Flora might never have made it back alive."

It was then that Philips eyes finally drifted past his daughter and to the quiet figure in the back.

Noah gave a lazy peace sign,(✌️), his same unreadable expression on his face.

"He was the one who found her. And from princess flora's information, Protected her, feed her, and kept her company with his family. " Vanessa said, still surprised at the explanation the princess gave her. Though she held her respectfully face on the outside.

Flora took her father's hand. "He was very kind to me, Father. Him and his family were. Even when they didn't have to be."

Philip listened closely, he gaze shifting back and forth—he also was mildly surprised, the boy looked no older than his daughters, he looked more like a misfit than a hero.

And yet… there was something in his stance. Something unshaken.

"...You wish for me reward him?"

"Yes!," Flora said, with more conviction than he expected.

Philip gave a nod. "Then so be it."

He looked to the guards. "Escort them further inside. And prepare the hall."

Then, casting one final glance at the slum boy who stood so casually in a royal castle, Philip muttered to himself—

"A slum boy who saved my daughter… This should be interesting."

---

An hour later.

Yup, a whole fucken hour later did they finally prepare the hall.

Noah had to wait, wait for dumb people to arrive under the king's orders.

He had to indure it though, if not, then his whole save princess, get reward plan would be in the air, flying would the bird's.

Though Noah was getting bored, flora kept him company through half of this hour. She showed him around, telling him story's about her life here and such. Noah listened closely, replying when need, asking his own question's when something peeped his curiosity.

Also, under flora's nagging, Noah switched clothes, only cause if he didn't flora might of cried or kept nagging which would of done no good for noah, in both scenario's.

He was fitted with a pretty sharp fit, that styled with his white hair, and crimson eye's.

A plain black t-shirt, his ring necklace tucked under, black pants that had two medium sized lines that fitted his eye color, red. The pants bottem leg bits stopped just below his calves, perfectly. Though he told flora this was enough, she said nope, and got him some sandals. Not the ugly one's, noah would rather call them Shinobi one's.

Remembering that moment, Noah shook his head with a sigh, a small chuckle escaping his mouth. "She really got me looking like a better version of Boruto, huh. I'm still confused as fuck on how she had the fit. Was there a ninja here or another reincarnater?" His tone was low as he walked towards the throne hall.

Flora had to go get ready for it, her sister kidnapping her from Noah's side, leaving him to wait alone.

"Haaa.... well if there was or it's just a coincidence. Then I'm sure I'll run into him/her. "

As he got closer to the throne hall door's, a thought struck him, "right, wasn't latif—"he was cut off—the double door's opening, with a squeak like it was some dungeon door or something.

*SQUEAK!!*

---

The throne hall was quieter than usual when the hall door's opened, save for the muffled whispers of the gathered nobles and the faint echo of footsteps on the marble floor. The whole royal family was present, seated in their respective thrones, with their eyes all focused on the young man who was walking before them.

King Philip was seated at the far end of the hall, his regal presence commanding respect from every noble present. The Queen, equally poised and elegant, sat by his side, her expression serene yet alert. Princess Christina, with her sharp gaze, sat next to the Queen, while Princess Flora sat next to her sister, her hands folded tightly in her lap, looking mildly timid but happy upon seeing noah.

(A/n: I know there's another princess, the youngest. But I couldn't find information on her. So let's just say she's a baby.)

In the presence of the king's authority, Noah remained unnerved. He stood there with his usual calm and relaxed demeanor, his outfit a strange mixture of rebellion and style. Though he wasn't here to impress anyone. And certainly not these stuck-up fucks.

If he had it his way, he would of kept on the slum clothes, but obviously that didn't happen.

Standing not so far to the right of the king, Vanessa Emerle kept her posture straight, her face unreadable as her eyes briefly flicked over to Noah. But she remained unmoved.

To the side, Celia Claire stood with her family, her father Roland Claire, and her mother Monica Claire standing tall next to her. Celia's calm demeanor and sharp intellect shone through as her eyes occasionally flicked towards Noah. She wasn't one for confrontation but was undoubtedly curious about this mysterious boy who had managed to save Princess Flora.

There was a long silence, the weight of the moment hanging heavily in the air. The King finally spoke, his voice strong and authoritative.

"So… I hear you're the one who saved my daughter? Is that true, young man?"

Noah remained unmoved by the king's gaze. He was used to people staring at him, used to their eyes that seemed to think they could intimidate him, as if the weight of their titles or their crowns meant something to spook him.

His hands remained in his pockets like always, as he gazed at the king with a deadpan expression, his thoughts elsewhere for few seconds.

Only snapping back to reality when Flora shifted on her throne, her eyes meeting his. There was a quiet worry in her gaze, almost as if she were waiting for something. He briefly glanced at the Princess, catching the quiet worry.

He tilted his head, mildly confused. ' why she worried?'

Even though he was confused, he still responded, his tone calm as the sea on a good day. "Yup. Just me. And only me"

The King's eyes narrowed as he took in the boy standing before him, a thought passing through his head. 'no bow. not even a kneel?'

The king had felt something was different about noah when he meet him outside, he didn't bow then either, nor was he frightened by his aura. It was like he had the presence of someone who didn't care, someone who didn't seem to see royalty or noblemen as much.

Like they were nothing. '..... interesting~'

The king didn't seem to mind though, just finding it interesting is all.

"I see. I suppose you have a name?"

Noah smirked slightly.

" You can just call me Noah."

The kind nodded. He then moved to ask another question. "Noah, hm. If you don't mind me asking, but What exactly happened during the rescue? Where are my daughter's kidnapper's now?"

Flora who was listening intently, flinched a little at the sound of her kidnapper's. 'hes.... he's gotta explain that whole thing!'

Noah caught this, as when the king asked him to explain "that incident" his eye's shifted to her instantly. So naturally he caught the expression, and body language.

"Haaa....flora, you chose what you wanna do. Cover your ear's, or if you wanna toughen up and listen, grip your mother or sister's hand for comfort~"

His tone was soft, and gentle as his eye's meet flora's. Not out right telling her to cover her ear's or leave so she didn't hear what he's about to say, but ultimately leaving it up to her.

Flora though surprised, thought hard about his options. Will she face it so she can get over it, or will she cower in fear again letting it eat at her.

There was a long pause as everyone looked at princess flora, surprised at a boy calling there king's daughter by her first name. And also curious about her choice noah layed out.

She finally chose, her choice....."I'll listen, noah!"

Noah's eyes twinkled as he heard her, giving a smile liking her choice.

He turned his gaze back to the king, his voice smooth but dripping with sarcasm.

"Oh, it was a bit of a messy story. So I do suggest covering all your kid's ear's," he said, making sure everyone with a kid could hear him clearly, before he continued.

" Where should I start. Hmmm. Ah, I know. so it went like this. " He cleared his throat, then his voice turned weird. "I came down like a rocket, swoosh! Then booom! Noahs there, standing shirtless like a true G, but here's the twist, the dirty villain's were also shirtless, and pantsless, all gathered around are lovely princess, looking wicked, laughing crookedly. But then they seen me, standing there menacingly. Then out of know where one villain charged—his ugly face waiting to be kicked, which I did. I went swoosh! Bang! Knocking him out clean. A swift K.O from your's truly~"

Everyone was looking at him, shock and disbelief at what happened to princess flora. Some gave her pity looks, some found noah's story amusing, some found it disrespectful, and some found it weird.

Cause it really did look like he was telling a story to a class full of kid's.

Infront of the king at that.

'.....are you sure he saved the princess?' Is what some thought.

However there expression's soon changed from weird to horror.

And the one's who didn't take his suggestion seriously were left regretting it.

"After he was on the floor." Noah smirked, he re-created how he did it, well he spoke the next word's. "I brought my foot down on his face, cracking his skull, smoshing his brain's to nothing but stepped on shit. "He chuckled, sending shivers down everyone's spine. "Then came piggy two. "Just like before he re-created how he did it. " I put my two finger's in his eye sockets, well also taking an arm, and his head that I beat the shit out of him with. The third piggy, I turned into a fishy, before I took his head off with his own arm. The fourth, I made him suck his private part, suffocating him with my foot over his head. Then I stomped it SLAT, blood everywhere. The last one is right inside my good buddy cubey~"

With a sigh, noah finally finished with. "Yous wanna see him~".

He let that last line hang in the air. A loooooong awarked silence following it.

Noah didn't interrupt, he let his story sink in, amusement lingering on his face, as he watched the nobles' faces twitch in disbelief. There were a few gasps from the more delicate members of the court. He could see the King's eyes narrowing as if he were gauging the young man's seriousness.

One whole minute passed.

Then two, before his Majesty finally spoke. "....sure."

With a nod, he turned his head to both side line's. "Cover your eye's kid's ~".

He casually waved a hand as if wacking a fly away. A little glow lightning up Noah's arm soon after.

The room fell silent seeing the cube come out of no where, the nobles exchanging uncomfortable glances. Princess Christina's hand flew to her eye's, her sister doing the same, while Celia was amazed that noah did that more then the rest. Though she to was disturbed like everyone else.

Even Vanessa couldn't help but look at Noah with wide eyes, though she was trying to maintain her stoic expression.

"Cubey~ my man, do me a solid and let that disappointment out. "

The cube glowed again, it's beautiful blue reflecting off Noah's face.

*Swoosh!*

*Thud!!*.

A haft dead man plopped out of the cube, his face hitting hard on the red carpet. He looked like a broken puppet, his body limp, his eyes lost it's color. Though he did seem awake, but his body wouldn't move, like his command has vanished.

Noah foot kicked his head lightly, his tone dripping with coldness. "Dumbass, your in the presences of your king, you should get on your knees before I break them~"

The thug trembled under his word's. And like a switch on a toy, he got on his knees quickly, his forehead pressing the ground.

Everyone, and I mean everyone looked at him with disbelief. A long silence following again.

King Philip stared at Noah, his gaze flickered with surprise. He was clearly trying to understand the boy standing before him.

Was he threat or was he allie.

Noah, in turn, remained unfazed, his face deadpan as ever.

"Now speak."

The thug trembled again. So with all his energy, he screamed. "HIS MAJESTY! PLEASE FORGIVE ME FOR WHAT I D—!!"

*BAM!!"

The thug, got the absolute air kicked out of him. He held his gut tightly, trying to get a the air he could inside his lung's, his eye's wide open with fear.

"No, no, no, your doing it wrong. You don't ask for forgiveness but ask for death~"

He quickly got back to it, his tone filled with fear. "HIS MAJESTY! PLEASE KILL ME! END ME! TAKE MY HEAD! ANYTHING!! JUST KILL ME!! END ME!! PLEASE KILL ME!! C'MON KILL ME!! KILL ME!! KILL ME!! KILL ME!!—."

*BANG!"

Then he snapped, he started banging his head repeatedly on the red carpet, yelling kill me like some broken toy.

Flora, and her sister tightly closed there eye's, well there hand's tightly over there ear's. Every noble present either did the same, or looked away, making sure there children did the same as flora, and her sister.

The royal guard's looked surprised but still held there gaze at noah, and the man next to him. There disgust evident on there faces when they watched the man beside Noah.

The queen has a hand over her mouth, disbelief over her face. Her husband surprised also, still held his gaze with noah briefly flicking back & forth between noah and the broken man.

Celia looked away, a little scared at the scene.

Noah, who was right next to the man. Started to get a little annoyed, fast.

So he did what he would do when annoyed.

Make whatever's annoying him shut the fuck up.

*Step!*

The thug stopped as he heard the step. But he was already to late. There was no saving unc now.

He put his foot under the guy's gut—then he perfumed a soccer move—keepie uppie.

Then with elegance that would of got him in edits. He perfumed a taekwondo jump spin hook kick.

Landing cleanly in the guy's gut, sending him flying towards the throne door's at breath taking speed.

*SWOOSH!!*.

*BANG!!!*.

This all happened in more then 5 second's. Leaving everyone shocked once again at the sheer audacity of this boy.

They gazed at the thug who was knocked out. His body soon absorbed back inside cubey, under the watchful eye's of everyone.

Noah smiled a little, knowing the king would be forced to process everything he had said, and done. The nobles were still in a state of shock. Some looked visibly disturbed, while a few looked like they might be sick. But Noah couldn't have cared less about what they thought of him.

' i'm sure they're all thinking I'm some bloodthirsty monster. That's good. '

Noah's voice cut through the silence once more.

"Anyway, I'm done with all this questioning. It was a job well done, haraay. If you want the details, well, you're welcome to ask someone else but me, cause i've got more important things to do, like... leaving. So, what's the deal with my reward?"

There was a long pause before the King spoke again.

"You are quite... blunt, aren't you? I suppose I'll have to get used to that."

The king, despite his initial wariness, seemed to be slowly coming to terms with the situation.

The king thought for a while, his hand stroking his chin, deep in thought.

"...."

The silence stretched a bit too long for Noah's liking.

So, of course, he opened his mouth again.

"Yo, old man. You're not planning on paying me with, like, a 'thank you' card and a pat on the head, are you?" Noah called out lazily, one hand in his pocket, the other over his mouth covering his yawn.

A few nobles twitched at his blatant disrespect.

King Philip's lip twitched — but somehow, he held onto his royal dignity.

"No," the king said calmly. "Given the circumstances... and your unusual methods... it would be improper to offer mere words."

Noah raised an eyebrow, clearly waiting for more.

"You shall be granted a personal reward," King Philip continued. "A single request — whatever it may be, within reasonable limits. Alongside a formal adoption into nobility... and enrollment into the Royal Academy."

The hall stirred again at those words. Nobles whispered among themselves. Still visibly shocked.

Noah blinked once. Then twice.

Then he grinned — that wolfish, shit-eating grin that promised trouble.

"A request, huh? Anything... within 'reasonable' limits?" he asked, air-quoting dramatically.

The King nodded solemnly, probably regretting his life choices already.

Noah tilted his head thoughtfully, like he was picking toppings for ice cream.

"Hmmmmmm... Can I ask for both your daughter's hands in marriage?"

Flora, Christina, Celia, Vanessa, Roanna — hell, even the Queen — all choked at once.

The King visibly stiffened.

Noah burst out laughing at their reactions, wiping a fake tear from his eye.

"Kidding, kidding! Chill! I don't do speedruns, Your Majesty," he smirked. "I prefer slow-cooked goodies, ya know?"

Flora looked like she didn't know whether to smile, faint, or hide under the carpet.

Christina thinking the same.

The King's glare deepened, but he said nothing.

Noah leaned back lazily.

"But seriously... since you're offering..." His eyes sharpened just a bit, though his tone stayed mocking. "I want a couple things."

The King frowned. "State them."

"First, I want my little family of misfits to be allowed to attend the Royal Academy with me. "

The nobles gasped at the audacity.

King Philip's eyebrow twitched, but he nodded. "Granted, within reason."

Noah flashed a thumbs up like he was giving the king a Yelp review.

"Second..." Noah said, his voice softening dangerously, "I want a private residence. No dorm life for me, bro. I'm allergic to peasants whining at night."

Even the royal guards looked like they wanted to tackle him at this point.

The King's face looked carved from stone.

"You will be provided a private estate within the noble district... close to the Academy," he said slowly.

Noah winked. "Knew you were a real one, OG."

A couple noble ladies nearly fainted.

"And third..." Noah dragged the word out, milking the attention, "...you better prepare yourself."

Everyone tensed.

".... I still want both your daughter's hand's in marriage."

Both sister's blushed at this deceleration. There mother, and father chocking in unison.

Gasps exploded across the hall.

A few chuckles came from some lady's lip's, finding this boy's attitude amusing.

Noah just laughed. Hard.

King Philip's expression cracked for the first time — pure disbelief mixed with... was that a twitch of his lip? Repressed amusement?

He almost smiled. Almost.

"Is that all?" the King said dryly.

Noah shrugged. "For now~"

"And as for the nobility stuff..." Noah waved his hand like it was a boring side quest. "Yeah, sure, knight me, lord me, prince me, whatever floats your monarchy boat."

King Philip sighed deeply, the kind of sigh a man made when he realized he just signed a lifetime contract with Satan himself.

"You shall henceforth be known as Noah... of House Orbis," the King declared, voice echoing through the throne hall. "A noble of this kingdom, by royal decree."

More shocked gasps rippled across the room.

Noah clapped mockingly. "Wow! I'm so touched I might cry!"

He fake-sniffled, wiping an invisible tear with his sleeve.

Flora, despite herself, giggled softly behind her hand. Celia's soft giggle following. Christina looked like she was reconsidering her life decisions. Vanessa still looked like she wanted to kick Noah.

Hard.

The king raised a hand for silence, regaining a bit of his kingly aura.

"You will begin attending the Royal Academy to hone your... talents, and with your family attending to hone there's."

"You start in two days. So introm your family. And get settled in your new estate first. "

His eyes narrowed pointedly.

Noah smirked. "Sounds fun. Looking forward to it."

Inside his head, he was thinking.

'I just got free food, a mansion, and a playground full of arrogant baby's. God bless being a bloodthirsty lunatic.'

Externally, he gave the king a two-finger salute.

"Pleasure doing business, Your Majesty."

The king gave a tight nod, the kind a man gives when he knows he can't unsign a devil's contract.

The royal guards moved to escort Noah out of the throne hall, back to the front gate's. One of them looked like he wanted to stab the absolute soul out him.

Noah winked at him just to be an asshole.

As he was led out, Noah couldn't help but toss one last grenade over his shoulder:

"Oh, and Your Majesty~"

The King looked up wearily.

Noah smirked wide. "Let Flora visit me sometime, or lady Christina. It'll be appreciated~"

The hall exploded into chaos again as he strolled away, whistling like he didn't just traumatize half, if not, the whole royal court.

A/n: I know I missed some major stuff. Like the main villain's and shit. But trust, they will show up next chapter or after. Also Almost forgot, it'll be a slow romance (kinda) some would be fast, some would be slow.

Again don't forget, watch Noah's personality.
