The Demon Guardian tone shifed into something playful. "Lord Bain! I— I was saving him from Heavens Sent, and about Tidalia, it's a mis—"
Before he could finish, Bain shot upward, still holding them both by their collars, the sea tearing apart in his wake.
Below, Tidalia and Nameless swam toward the surface, their movements urgent.
"You coward!" The Heavenly Guardian bellowed, his voice carrying through the storm-churned air.
"Why do you fight in a subconscious form?
Do you think you can destroy me like this, you damned demon?!" His energy flared, attempting to break free, but Bain showed no hesitation.
Without a word, Bain disappeared with both of them, reappearing near a towering structure, still suspended in the sky.
Holding them firmly in his grasp, he slammed them into the side of the building with devastating force. The upper floors shattered instantly, debris cascading down as cracks split through its foundation.
Blood sprayed into the air.
