It was only after sleeping for more than 30 hours straight that Marc finally woke up. However, the long period of rest didn't seem to help his body recover at all.
In fact, he felt an intense pain spread throughout his entire body. His head, in particular, was spinning and aching so badly that he could barely think.
That said, an urgent need overtook him: he needed water.
After sleeping for so long, his body was naturally starting to dehydrate, so the first thing he did was drag himself to the kitchen.
The place was perfectly clean, just as Liam had left it. After all, no one else had been there.
Sophia was at Karen's house, still shocked by the news she had received, but relieved that Helena was safe and hadn't suffered any harm.
Zack was obviously out of the country, and the man's youngest son was still in the hospital, even though he had basically been discharged.
