The desire to let out a scream overwhelmed Katherine, a squeal actually managed to fall form her lips and she had to cover her mouth to hide what was bubbling beneath the surface. Not that she could hide her excitement because it was written on her face and everyone could see it.
"Yes uncle! I thought the same thing and we all know that I have dedicated my entire life to the group. There is no better person to take on the group than me." She lifted her chin.
"Easy there Katherine, I think that your generation is not next in line for any leadership position in the family. The only people that should be excited are your father and uncle." Nini managed to say, she was old and tired most of the time, but she could not miss this for anything.
She closed her eyes and immediately started to snore; someone would wake her up when it was time for important business. Her breakfast was only partially eaten, and the maids removed all the used plates, cups and cutlery in front of her quickly.
