The next day.
Jiang Yan had just stepped out of the space when Li Haoyang arrived at her door at the agreed-upon time.
"Miss Jiang, may I come in? I have something for you."
"Sure."
Jiang Yan opened the door and let him in.
Since Jiang Yan lived alone in the room, Li Haoyang didn't venture too far inside.
After gently closing the door, he retrieved a bulky rectangular device from his tactical backpack:
"Miss Jiang, this is a special metal detector. It can detect special metals within a 1000-meter radius. When we go out later, we'll need to use this to investigate underground areas or mountain locations for other survivor bases. There are only two units in the entire base, so once you're done using it, I'll have to trouble you to return it."
"Alright." Jiang Yan reached out to take it and casually threw it into the space using her backpack.
