"..."
Obito silently retracted his foot.
He was immensely relieved that he had restrained himself and not acted prematurely. Otherwise, he would have shared the same fate as the Fourth Raikage.
But... did Shinho's form have no time limit? Could he use such an immensely powerful technique without restriction?
It was utterly illogical!
"Big bro!"
The Eight-Tails, in Killer B's transformed state, got back on its feet. The sight before it made its blood boil with rage.
Without any techniques or strategy, it charged at Shinho like a mountain set in motion.
Shinho loosened his grip, letting the unconscious Fourth Raikage collapse to the ground.
Turning around, Shinho threw another punch, sending the Eight-Tails flying once again.
Boom!
The Eight-Tails crashed into the ground, shattering rocks and stirring up a massive dust cloud.
"Is that all you've got?" Shinho asked in a calm, indifferent tone.
"Bastard!" the Eight-Tails roared, seething with anger.
A mere human dared to look down on it like this?! It had been ages since it encountered such an arrogant human.
Continuous Tailed Beast Bombs!
The Eight-Tails opened its mouth, releasing a terrifying surge of chakra. In the blink of an eye, it launched eight Tailed Beast Bombs consecutively.
"Retreat!" Mabui's face turned pale as she shouted a warning.
Anko followed suit, urging the Konoha and Kumogakure Shinobi to retreat. Both sides instinctively agreed, scrambling to escape the incoming devastation.
The battlefield was flooded with an oppressive chakra pressure. No exaggeration was needed as those eight Tailed Beast Bombs were enough to raze everything to the ground.
The Eight-Tails exhaled heavily. Even with its immense chakra reserves, firing eight consecutive Tailed Beast Bombs had left it feeling drained. After all, it wasn't the Nine-Tails; Kurama could fire more than a dozen without breaking a sweat.
The Eight-Tails fixed its gaze on Shinho. If even these couldn't stop him, it had no means left to win.
Shinho's eyes narrowed slightly. He noticed that Obito and Black Zetsu were still hiding in the shadows, unwilling to show themselves.
Perhaps I've scared them too much, Shinho thought.
A plan began to form in his mind.
Effort Multiplier Gu! Fivefold!
Shinho stopped holding back, unleashing one of his ultimate techniques.
In an instant, two-thirds of his Primeval Essence drained away.
He threw a punch.
At the center of his fist, the space shattered. The shockwave swept up debris, rapidly expanding outward.
The eight Tailed Beast Bombs collided with the shockwave one after another and exploded simultaneously.
Endless light and heat spread outwards, reducing the ground beneath them to rubble and causing the surface to sink.
"Run!"
Nagato flashed forward, positioning himself in front of the Konoha shinobi.
Shinra Tensei!
An invisible shockwave created a counterforce, pushing back the destructive energy.
Nagato's face paled, and blood spurted from his mouth. His eyes were filled with shock.
So, during their last battle, Shinho had been holding back his true strength!
It was utterly unimaginable.
While the Konoha shinobi were shielded by Nagato, Kumogakure Shinobi weren't as fortunate.
A thousand ninjas in close proximity were caught in the shockwave, suffering massive casualties.
Mabui and the others were left speechless, utterly shaken by what they had just witnessed.
How could such a powerful ninja exist?
When the dust and light finally settled, the battlefield lay in ruins.
The ground was cratered and shattered, not a single piece intact. Trees and grass had been obliterated, leaving no trace of their existence.
But what truly crushed Mabui and the others was the sight of Killer B lying unconscious.
The force from Shinho's punch had not only detonated the eight Tailed Beast Bombs but had also struck the Eight-Tails directly.
Killer B had finally reached his limit, losing his full Tailed Beast transformation and falling into a deep coma.
Amidst the desolation, the lone figure of the demon god remained standing.
And he was completely unharmed.
The once chaotic battlefield had fallen into eerie silence.
No one dared to speak, afraid to attract the demon god's attention.
"R-run... Run!"
From a distance, Obito's voice trembled as he spoke.
Before encountering Shinho, Obito had been extremely proud of his abilities, especially Kamui.
He believed that no matter how strong his opponent was, he could either defeat them or escape.
But today, his perception had shattered.
Despite his Kamui, he had narrowly escaped death several times and was even forced to use the precious Izanagi.
"..."
Black Zetsu remained silent.
While he still had some contingency plans, he doubted they would work against a ninja who seemed beyond human comprehension.
Just then, Shinho dismissed the Six-Armed Heavenly Zombie King Form.
He reverted to his human state but began coughing violently.
Bent over, Shinho spat out a mouthful of blood.
"He's injured?"
Obito was momentarily stunned. His extinguished hope began to flicker again.
"It seems serious," Black Zetsu murmured with a frown.
Could it be real? Or was it a trap?
Given the sheer power of eight Tailed Beast Bombs, it seemed entirely reasonable for him to sustain injuries.
"That transformation jutsu was incredibly powerful, it must have unimaginable side effects," Obito said through gritted teeth, "This is our last chance!"
Black Zetsu hesitated but ultimately stayed silent.
Obito wasn't wrong.
Nagato had sided with Konoha.
The Fourth Raikage and Killer B had been defeated.
The remaining villages and jinchūriki couldn't compare.
If they missed this opportunity, who else in the ninja world could stand a chance against Shinho?
Pessimistically, even if the entire ninja world united again, it would be almost impossible to find someone capable of injuring him this severely.
While Black Zetsu could wait for Shinho to grow old and die, Obito couldn't.
"Cough, cough, cough."
Shinho forced another mouthful of blood from his lungs.
Just as he assumed Obito and Black Zetsu wouldn't make another move, the space behind him distorted.
A pulling sensation enveloped his body.
"Just you alone? What a pity," Shinho said calmly as he seized Obito by the shoulder in a split second.
Battle Space Gu!
In an instant, both vanished from their spot.
"What?!"
Obito staggered back in shock, but to his surprise, Shinho didn't take the opportunity to attack.
Confused for a brief moment, Obito quickly realized something was wrong, the space around them had changed.
They were no longer in the ninja world but instead a mysterious void.
Kamui!
Without hesitation, Obito activated the Mangekyō Sharingan's ability. He didn't know why Shinho wasn't attacking, but retreating was the best option. This was clearly a trap, Shinho hadn't been injured at all!
"How is this possible?!" Obito's eyes widened in disbelief.
He couldn't escape the space. Even Kamui was ineffective here.
Shinho smiled faintly.
"Gu is the essence of heaven and earth," he began. "Mortal Gu is but a fragment of the Dao."
In essence, Gu represented rules, and the rule of Battle Space Gu was simple: to leave, either Shinho's energy had to be exhausted, or a victor had to be determined. Until then, no technique could break free, unless the challenger was a Gu Immortal at the sixth transformation.
But Obito was far from that.
"Kamui isn't omnipotent," Shinho said flatly.
"How do you know about Kamui?!" Obito asked, his voice trembling with fear.
Not only had Shinho called out the name of his technique, but he had rendered it useless. Without Kamui, Obito was little more than a standard jōnin.
Death loomed ever closer.
"I also know you're not Uchiha Madara. You're Uchiha Obito," Shinho stated with a chilling smile.
"You... you... you..." Obito stammered, instinctively retreating.
"Obito." Shinho looked down at him, his gaze piercing. "In the name of the Hokage, I hereby declare you a traitor and sentence you to death."
"I... I won't die! I'll create a new world! A world where Rin exists!" Obito shouted, his voice rising in desperation, as if volume alone could stave off his fear.
"Do you think Nohara Rin would like who you've become?" Shinho asked, shaking his head. "She wouldn't. In fact, she never loved you to begin with."
"Ah! I'll kill you!" Obito roared, his composure breaking completely.
Wood Release: Cutting Technique!
With a twisted expression, he charged forward.
"Such a pitiful failure," Shinho said, throwing a single punch.
Crack.
The impact was devastating. Obito's right arm broke instantly, the bone piercing through his skin and protruding grotesquely.
"Argh!" Obito screamed in agony, clutching his mangled arm. His face twisted in pain.
Shinho stepped forward and delivered a swift kick. Obito's legs shattered under the force, and he collapsed to his knees.
"This is for the Fourth Hokage and his wife," Shinho said coldly.
"Y-you bastard!" Obito gasped, his face pale, drenched in cold sweat.
Shinho ignored him, slapping him across the face with enough force to shatter the remaining piece of his mask. Obito's right cheek swelled instantly.
"This is for Naruto," Shinho continued.
"K-kill me... just kill me already!" Obito stammered, trembling before Shinho's sheer presence.
"There's no need to rush," Shinho said, shaking his head.
Obito froze, paralyzed by an overwhelming sense of dread. This man wasn't just a ninja; he was a demon.
"Ahhh!" Obito screamed again as his right eye was ripped from its socket. Already blind in his left eye, his world plunged into eternal darkness.
"Kakashi-sensei will be pleased," Shinho said nonchalantly, holding the Mangekyō Sharingan in his hand.
At the mention of Kakashi, Obito was reminded of Rin's death, and a familiar wave of despair washed over him.
"When you're dead, I'll resurrect Nohara Rin and let her be with Kakashi-sensei. What do you think about that?" Shinho asked, storing the Sharingan.
"No!" Obito roared, his mind consumed by rage and despair. "I'll kill you!"
"You will?" Shinho said, slapping Obito's left cheek. "This is for the Uchiha clan."
"I... I..." Obito's face swelled beyond recognition, his humiliation driving him to madness.
"This will do," Shinho said, hearing the sound of an achievement being triggered, "But death isn't the end. You'll see me in the Pure Land."
Obito froze, unable to comprehend Shinho's words before falling into eternal darkness.
With Obito's death, the Battle Space Gu was naturally dispelled.
Shinho reappeared in the ninja world.
His sudden return immediately drew everyone's attention.
But their gazes quickly shifted to Obito's lifeless body. His eyes had been gouged out, his arms and legs broken, and his face so swollen it was unrecognizable.
"..."
Black Zetsu dared not make a move. It didn't even glance at Shinho, retreating into the ground as quickly as possible, vanishing without a trace.
It knew that, barring unforeseen circumstances, it might have to wait another hundred years. The Eye of the Moon Plan was effectively over.
Without Obito or Nagato, Madara could not be resurrected, and Kaguya Ōtsutsuki was an even more distant possibility.
"We... lost?!" Mabui whispered in despair as she looked at Shinho.
The Fourth Raikage and Killer B were both unconscious. Even though the Kumogakure had more shinobi than Konoha, what difference did it make?
At that moment, she noticed Shinho walking toward her.
Kumogakure Shinobi around her instinctively stepped back, their courage shattered.
"You now have only one choice," Shinho said, grabbing Mabui by the chin, "Submit to me, and you'll live."
"W-what about Yugito and Samui?" Mabui asked with difficulty, struggling through gritted teeth.
"They're alive," Shinho said calmly.
"..."
Trembling, Mabui slowly fell to her knees before him.
