A horrible ending in comparison to many romance movies of their time, and they both knew it was so, even before starting the movie.
However, where Sara was left in pieces, crying out her eyes, Celeste felt with each minute passing a knot tightening around her chest. Her mind, torn between fearing watching either of the two die. Avond or Tiel. Each threatened by the other's hand. How did her life become so complicated? Celeste thought to herself while she handed Sara a box of tissues. The one she had before emptied.
