Chapter 379 - Advancing to True God and the Eternal Clone

"Let me see... the true face of the World Government." Rosen opened the folder labeled World Government Secrets while simultaneously materializing the Secret Brass Book to record everything.

Text, images, and sounds—everything vanished immediately after being played. Clearly, the chip given by the World Will only allowed access to the encrypted information for a brief moment.

Fortunately, the Secret Brass Book could record secrets, allowing Rosen to easily preserve all the information.

After casually destroying the chip, Rosen flipped open the book and carefully examined its contents.

The World Government currently had 96 True Gods and 12 Great True Gods, with at least three Immortal Gods and Demons backing them.

The World Will confirmed that one of these Immortal Gods and Demons originated from an Ancient God Civilization, another from a Cosmic Civilization, and the last from a Main God Civilization—all three were remnants of civilizations that had transcended New World's Ten Cataclysms throughout history.

This explained why the World Government could so quickly suppress all foreign races and seal the World Will, despite the latter deliberately "holding back."

Even if the World Will harbored rebellious intent, it didn't mean it could freely hold back.

It was obvious that the World Will had to abide by the rules of the Ancient Gods.

The Ancient Gods would never allow the World Will to betray them or act against their interests, so the World Will couldn't simply give up resisting and accept being sealed. At most, it could subtly sabotage the seal within the limits of the rules.

For example, if the World Will devoted most of its power to suppressing the Great True Gods, the remaining power it could wield would be significantly limited.

If it forcefully broke the seal, it would weaken its suppression of the Great True Gods.

With this reasoning, the World Will had the perfect excuse not to break the seal.

Instead, it leveraged the World Government as an indirect tool to achieve its ultimate goal of rebelling against the Ancient Gods.

These were Rosen's speculations, but given the World Government's intelligence, he was confident he was very close to the truth.

Rosen continued reading.

The three Immortal Gods and Demons backing the World Government had prepared five Sealed Artifacts—five trump cards.

Sealed Artifact No. 5 was the Noble Codex, even more terrifying than Rosen had initially thought.

Sealed Artifact No. 4 was the King's Guillotine, a weapon capable of directly executing a Great True God.

Sealed Artifact No. 3 was the Spirit Realm Messenger—those who consumed the Primordial Potion to become one gained access to the most powerful potion sequence.

Sealed Artifact No. 2 was the Cosmic Prison—the artifact that had sealed the World Will itself.

Sealed Artifact No. 1 was completely unknown, even to the World Will. All that was known was that it was the World Government's trump card against the Ancient Gods.

The information on these Sealed Artifacts was encrypted, likely through Sealed Artifact No. 1.

"The World Government has three Immortal Gods and Demons, while the World Will has at least two," Rosen murmured, calculating his own gap compared to true Immortal Gods and Demons.

The three Immortal Gods and Demons of the World Government had yet to reveal themselves, and even the World Will didn't know their identities.

Since they were only expelled by the World Will before becoming Immortal Gods and Demons, it was possible that even more had emerged outside the New World. The confirmed three were just the bare minimum—and this uncertainty was likely what unnerved the World Will the most.

On the World Will's side, there was at least the Immortal Evil God deep in Hell and the Immortal God and Demon who possessed a vessel to meet Rosen.

That made two confirmed Immortal Gods and Demons, not counting the World Will's power itself.

Additionally, there was likely another Immortal God and Demon from the Ancient God Civilization residing in the Abyss—though it wasn't certain if they were allied with the World Will.

From what Rosen could tell, the Abyssal Immortal God and Demon seemed to be at odds with the World Will.

In that case, the Abyss might actually be an independent third faction.

After all, there were still a few types of Eternal Origins whose true identities remained unconfirmed.

The situation in the New World was proving to be far more complicated than Rosen had originally anticipated.

After a moment of contemplation, Rosen made his decision.

It was time to ascend to True God.

The magic potion formula for the Root Sequence had already been deduced long ago. Now, it was time to make the decision to consume it.

The potion for advancing to True God through the Root Sequence wasn't difficult to prepare, especially since Rosen was now the equivalent of a Great True God-level Primordial Potion Master.

He had the ability to concoct an even stronger potion, but a potion that was too powerful wouldn't be easy to absorb.

If he couldn't fully integrate the potion's power into his Beyonder essence, the result would be an uncontrollable breakdown, leading to a fatal backlash of aberrant mutations.

However, Rosen would never consider weakening the potion's effects.

Instead, he needed a special ritual to assist him, ensuring he could maximize his digestion of the potion.

That meant gathering all the necessary ingredients and preparing a ritual to aid in merging with the potion.

Rosen filtered through targets using the Main God Network and locked onto them with the Omniscient Magic Eye.

Both his main body and avatar moved out simultaneously, utilizing data transmission to capture the materials required for the potion's formulation.

One of the most critical factors for a deity to ascend to True God was fortune.

The fortune of civilizations, professions, and races—all forms of fortune could aid a deity in this process.

Thus, the fortune of a civilization was indispensable. However, even the civilization fortune of the Glorious Kingdom from the Ancient Gods' True World wasn't enough for Rosen's needs, as the foundation he had built at Sequence 0 was simply too vast. The amount of civilization fortune required for his potion was beyond extraordinary.

There were two possible solutions. One was to wait thousands of years, occasionally accelerating time to let the Glorious Kingdom's civilization fortune continue growing.

Rosen had no patience for that.

That left only one option—stealing fortune.

Paradise Mountain, is an independent world at the level of an Immortal God and Demon.

Though it wasn't as formidable as the Abyss, its foundations ran deeper than even the Dragon Realm.

The entire expanse of Paradise Mountain wasn't large; this floating mountain in the void spanned merely several tens of millions of miles in diameter.

Like the Mysterious Study Room, it followed a path of extreme concentration, though not to the same degree.

Despite its small surface area, its depths contained countless spirit realm worlds carved out through faith.

Within these spirit realms, an uncountable number of humans lived.

Some researchers estimated that the total population of these humans amounted to at least one percent of the World Government's entire population.

That was already an astonishing figure.

Every human in these spirit realms was born and died in devotion to the angels.

It was precisely due to this endless faith that the angel race had given birth to an enormous number of angelic deities.

However, the number of angelic True Gods had always been strictly limited.

The angelic True Gods stood above all others and never directly managed their race in Paradise Mountain.

Instead, this role was handled by angelic deities who were only a step away from becoming True Gods. During this process, these angelic deities continuously accumulated fortune. If an angelic True God ever perished, they could ascend to fill the void.

As the number of True Gods in the World Government grew, the angel race didn't remain stagnant either.

In a short span of time, several angelic deities had advanced to True God.

Now, there were already ten angelic True Gods, fully capable of unleashing the full might of Paradise Mountain, this Immortal God and Demon world.

In the past, the number of angelic True Gods had been limited because they sought to become Great True Gods.

Every additional angelic True God meant dividing the available resources further. Resources were already scarce for those seeking to become Great True Gods, so they had prohibited angelic deities from ascending.

But now, the situation was clearly different.

The quickest way to advance to the Great True God was through plundering fate.

And to avoid becoming the one who was defeated and plundered, they had to enhance their strength as much as possible.

Compared to True Gods of other races, those nurtured from within their own kind were naturally far more reliable.

Of course, the veteran Angelic True Gods were not unprepared; they had ways to keep the newly ascended Angelic True Gods under control.

Rosen had been in Heaven Mountain for many days. Since the top-tier Angelic Deities had consecutively become True Gods, the remaining Angelic Deities were unwilling to become cannon fodder in the future. Now, each of them was fiercely competing, doing everything possible to enhance their strength.

Becoming the appointed administrator of Heaven Mountain under the Angelic True Gods was undoubtedly the most advantageous position for cultivation.

After years of open and covert struggles, the new administrator of Heaven Mountain had finally been decided.

The Dimensional Gate continuously altered its spatial anchor, allowing Rosen to swiftly infiltrate the divine kingdom of Angelic Deity Ymir Potter.

The domain of time and space instantly enveloped Ymir, freezing him in place through a time halt. Rosen locked onto Ymir and immediately activated his Miracle Skill: Soul Avatar and Flesh Metamorphosis.

With the miracle trait of Soul Symbiosis, Rosen's divinity directly suppressed Ymir's divinity, causing his divine essence to parasitize and replace Ymir's. Meanwhile, the miracle trait of Flesh Symbiosis allowed Rosen's body to devour and merge with Ymir's Angelic Divine Body.

Moments later, Rosen had completely transformed into Ymir, taking over his identity.

While playing the role of Ymir, Rosen discreetly integrated the Miracle Ember into the civilization's Ember of the Angelic race.

Upon ascending to Sequence 0, the miracle trait of the Miracle Ember—Inheritance of the Ember—had been successfully awakened.

This miracle trait was extremely unique. If a civilization's Ember was on the verge of extinction, Inheritance of the Ember could transfer its remaining essence to the Ember of the Glorious Kingdom, thereby greatly strengthening it.

Over the years, numerous small races and civilizations had perished in the New World, and all their civilization Embers had been inherited by the Glorious Kingdom.

However, it was still insufficient, so the only option was to use the Miracle Ember to seize control of various civilizations' Embers.

Rosen swiftly gained complete control over the Angelic race's civilization Ember, surpassing even the Angelic True Gods in authority over it.

Leaving behind a clone to continue impersonating Ymir, he shifted his focus to stealthily seizing control of another race's civilization Embers.

In less than half a year, the stolen civilization and racial fortunes were nearly sufficient.

Since racial fortune typically merged with civilization fortune to form the Civilization Ember, there was no need for additional efforts to steal it separately.

The only thing left was professional fortune, which was the easiest to steal.

For the same Sequence, once one reached the True God level, they could claim the greatest amount of professional fortune.

Rosen directly used his Eternal Divinity to simulate the divine personas of various Beyonder Sequences. Though he was merely a deity, his simulated True God personas were indistinguishable from the real thing, allowing him to effortlessly steal the professional fortunes of countless Beyonder Sequences.

With the three types of fortune united, they were placed into the Miracle Chalice, which quickly refined them into potion ingredients.

Eternal Origin was the main component of the potion, while Miracle, Dark Sun, Omniscience, Mimicry, Compatibility, Plunder, and Evolution—seven distinct Eternal Essences—served as auxiliary materials. Adding in the power of fortune processed by the Miracle Chalice, the nine potion ingredients were easily prepared.

Through the synthesis of the Primordial Potion Master, the nine potion ingredients fused into a cluster of nine-colored light.

Rosen brought the potion to his lips and swallowed it in one gulp. The nine-colored light immediately merged into his divinity and divine fire.

The potion's power was terrifyingly immense, even with Rosen's inherent mastery over the Eternal Origin. However, to completely absorb and refine the overwhelming fortune contained in the potion, he needed to rely on a ritual to aid the digestion process.

Rosen took out the Rainfall Painting of the New World, allowing his body, divinity, and divine essence to dissolve.

Then, he merged into the painting, transforming into countless raindrops that quietly descended upon various empires.

As soon as these raindrops touched the ground, they turned into infants—naturally born, nurtured by the world itself, and inherently Beyonders of Sequence 9.

Each infant belonged to a different major race of the New World, with entirely distinct Beyonder Sequences. They were born with innate knowledge, yet possessed no memories related to Rosen. Each of them grew as independent life forms.

Strictly speaking, this was the true essence of "becoming one with all things."

Turning one's body into all things only created lifeless matter, but transforming one's soul and divine essence into all things gave birth to sentient life.

Rosen had become tens of thousands of infants, each growing at a rate of one year per day, stopping only upon reaching sixteen years of age. Though they lacked memories of Rosen, their innate knowledge allowed them to easily integrate into ordinary human cities using their Beyonder abilities.

They then began interacting with ordinary beings from different races and civilizations, learning the fundamental knowledge available around them.

As the adolescents gradually adapted to their surroundings, they all embarked on the path of Beyonders.

With terrifyingly powerful talents, the tens of thousands of Sequence 9 youths took less than a year to all advance to Sequence 8, then Sequence 7, and soon after, Sequence 4. Their journey to demi-godhood was effortless and unobstructed.

Each of them carried immense fortune, simultaneously possessing civilization fortune, racial fortune, and professional fortune.

If they couldn't rise to prominence with all these advantages, then Rosen's effort in stealing so much fortune would have been wasted.

When the tens of thousands of youths advanced from Sequence 4 to demigods, their spirituality absorbed faith and transformed into divinity. At that moment, their divine essence and Beyonder characteristics resonated, and Rosen finally completed the digestion of the potion. His slumbering divine consciousness awakened.

With just a single thought, tens of thousands of newly advanced demigods were reduced to dust.

After reclaiming everything from these demigods, Rosen felt his divine body strengthen by another 20% compared to when he had just ascended to godhood. This was nearly equivalent to the harvest of an annihilation across ten regions—it was no wonder the ancient gods nurtured and reaped mortals.

If his divine body had gained such immense benefits, then it was even more so for his godhood.

[Eternal Divinity: True Godhood][Divine Name: Rosen Saint Howard…][Divine Essence: 159][Life Essence: 160][Attached Divine Flame: Eternal Divine Flame][Eternal Origin: Root (Miracle, Dark Sun, Omniscience, Mimicry, Compatibility, Plunder, Evolution)][Eternal Organ: Dark Sun Celestial Eye][Eternal Law: Root Law][True God Sequence: Root Sequence, Miracle Sequence][Eternal Divine Arts: Limited Omniscience and Omnipotence, Eternal Clone Technique]

However, both his divine essence and life essence still fell short—he hadn't reached the perfect threshold of 165 points as he had expected.

Clearly, while the foundation of the Eternal Sequence was deep, its growth was also far more difficult.

Rosen carefully examined the greatest transformation within his godhood—the Eternal Clone Technique, derived from the Root Sequence.

Regular clones were not eternal because their divine essence was only a hollow imitation.

If both the main body and the clone possessed 100 points of divine essence, the main body's divine essence could recover even if damaged. However, once a clone's divine essence was damaged, it was permanently destroyed and had to rely on the main body to recover.

Furthermore, without the main body's assistance, the clone's divine essence could not independently grow stronger.

But the Eternal Clone Technique was different—every single one of Rosen's clones could grow independently. A mere drop of his blood could transform into a demigod of the angel race. If he were willing to sacrifice everything, he could create tens of thousands of Eternal Clones at the demigod level.

Additionally, Rosen could freely decide whether to instill his memories into these clones.

The originally uncontrollable Embodiment of All Things, an ability of the Ancient God Sequence, had now become fully controllable through the Eternal Clone Technique.

Rosen didn't think his Eternal Clone Technique was superior to the Ancient God's Embodiment of All Things. His clones were limited to only tens of thousands, while the Ancient God could transform into countless lives across the entire New World. The difference in scale was vast.

If the Ancient God's Embodiment of All Things had only created tens of thousands of sentient beings, the Ancient God likely wouldn't have struggled to remain conscious and in control.

After a brief moment of thought, Rosen split ten thousand Eternal Clones from himself.

As a result, his divine essence and life essence nearly dropped back down to mere godhood levels.

He intended to embed these ten thousand clones into various races, withholding their memories to allow them to develop independently. Secretly, he would manipulate these Eternal Clones to infiltrate different races' deities, or even be reincarnated as divine offspring of gods and true gods.

Since each clone possessed genuine divine essence, there was no apparent connection to his original self.

Thus, he had no concerns about their identities being exposed. They could easily use their status as divine offspring to approach various gods and true gods. Once these Eternal Clones matured, he would gain an indirect means of controlling all life within the New World.

The World Will and Great True Gods encouraged the various races to increase their populations—not just in words, but in actual practice.

In addition to providing unlimited resources, they even reinforced this policy with laws.

The Law of Reproduction, which enveloped the world, had been strengthened to a level second only to the Law of Causality.

As a result, not only did mortal populations rapidly increase, but the birth rate of divine offspring also surged. Many gods and true gods took advantage of this opportunity to produce numerous divine descendants, allowing Rosen's ten thousand Eternal Clones to blend in effortlessly.

For the most part, gods and true gods valued their divine offspring.

This wasn't due to any sentimentality over bloodlines—true gods had no lifespan restrictions and no need for heirs. Instead, the greatest advantage of having divine offspring was that they could inherit the powers that their divine parents no longer needed or wanted.

If a true god was dissatisfied with a certain ability within their godhood, the easiest way to get rid of it was to pass it down to a divine offspring.

Some true gods who were afflicted by curses would even transfer their curses to their offspring.

In the past, divine offspring were rare because true gods found it extremely difficult to conceive them. But now, with the World Will amplifying the power of the Law of Reproduction to its limits, even true gods had begun seizing the chance to produce offspring.
