Noe silently lifted his father's silver sword from the ground, his dark blue eyes cold and empty as they fixed themselves on the figure of the man who had ordered Ha-Joon's death - Ren.
The other soldiers laughed at the sight of his mother desperately attempting to shield his young sister from the sight of the raging fire and of the bodies still hanging from the tree.
But Noe could hear nothing except for a single demand, voiced over and over inside of his mind.
'Kill him, kill him, kill him...He killed him...Ren killed him.' It whispered.
As the heir to a noble family, Noe Jin had been forced to train as a General, and despite his recalcitrance, he had learnt to ride horses and to wield a sword, from a young age.
