There were many surveillance monitors here, allowing full view of the base. Javier saw that Chris and Jill had defeated the Talos Tyrant and were clearing the battlefield with the remaining soldiers.
Meanwhile, Wesker was confronting Sergei, and soon Sergei mutated—it appeared he had injected himself with the virus. In his transformed state, Sergei fought Wesker.
Javier watched briefly and concluded that Sergei was no match for Wesker. It was only a matter of time before Sergei would be defeated. Without hesitation, Javier left the office, exited the base, and moved toward the nearby extraction point.
