Sebastian woke with a bright light that stabbed through his eyes, and he felt his lungs burning. He coughed a couple of times as soon as he caught his breath.
He looked around the room with confusion. After a while, he recognized the room he was in. He was back at the hotel, trapped in Atlas's room.
He moved his arms and furrowed his brow when he couldn't. His hands felt tied to something, and he moved his head downward and saw silvery chains wrapped around his wrists and ankles.
He tugged on the chains, but he couldn't break them.
Sebastian's heart started to pound as fuzzy memories flashed through his mind.
Airport.
Bathroom.
Quinn lying cold on the floor.
Atlas... Yes, Atlas was the one who knocked him out.
Sebastian glanced around the room for a glimpse of him, and a sigh of relief exhaled through him when he couldn't find him.
He narrowed his eyes when he got a problem. How the hell is he going to get out of the chains?
