The next day was not any better, Rowan ignored all my calls.
I really wanted to talk to him, I had no idea why I wanted to but I knew I needed him.
I have been restless since I woke up, my body was running a high temperature and I have been having these insane headaches since morning.
I padded to the kitchen to get myself something cool to drink. The sight of Rudolf standing there made my stomach roll with nausea, I paused.
"Could you go find Rowan and bring him here, I need to talk to him."
He nodded and narrowed his eyes when he saw how pale I looked, "okay, are you okay?"
"No, I am coming down with something,"
He nodded and I left after drinking water.
I barely made it to my bedroom before my legs buckled beneath me. A wave of heat crashed over me, and I clutched the doorframe, my breath coming out in ragged pants. My body burned from the inside out, my skin felt too tight, and the scent of my own arousal was suffocating.
This wasn't normal.
