Quagmire, with unrelenting desperation, immediately holstered his pistol and brought out his bolt-action rifle. Once he grabbed it, he was already in full display from the audience, and the Fat Digger could practically see him with its very own naked eye. The Fat Digger, realizing what was happening, stared in front of it and growled in anger like there was no tomorrow left in the world. It started to wiggle around the ground more aggressively, to the horror of the wolf cub a few meters beside it.
Thankfully, as if the world was on Quagmire's side, the stone cave collapsed further on top of the fat digger and was crushed even more, rendering it unable to move further. In its predicament, it finally realized its situation and began to silently stare at Quagmire, who was pointing the rifle at it. It released a low growl; it felt threatened, but it wanted to sound even more threatening to salvage what's left of it.
