"Are you happy?" Fu Xing's eyes gave a faint glance, exuding a dangerous aura.
"No, absolutely not. You are my backbone, my pillar of support. Without you on Capital Star, I would be lost. I'm just worried, what if Theresa comes looking for trouble again?"
Fu Xing's expression then improved slightly, his ear tips even turned a bit red, and he uncomfortably shifted to a more proper sitting posture.
"Really?" His voice was low as he asked.
"Of course, it's the honest truth."
"Alright! Then, when I return..."
"Knock, knock, knock." The rhythmic knocking sound at the office door interrupted Fu Xing, "Commander, Elbert's people have arrived."
"Let them in."
"Click!"
The door automatically opened. Joter and Omnia, along with Mervin and a dozen others, lined up in formation, their faces stern and their steps synchronized as they walked in.
Upon entering, they automatically split to both sides and saluted simultaneously.
