The morning air was quiet but tense. Eduardo dressed in plain clothes... dark jeans, a hoodie, and a cap pulled low. His sharp features were half-hidden behind tinted shades as he slipped out of the manor unnoticed. The car Luca arranged was waiting by the back gate, and within minutes, they were on the highway heading to the airport.
His father already knew about his short vacation. He just didn't want too much attention when leaving the country, especially when he had just found out he had a fan club filled with girls.
The drive was quiet. David sat in the front, his fingers drumming against the door absentmindedly. Luca, acting every bit the perfect secretary in a tailored coat and crisp tie, typed away on his tablet. Eduardo sat in the back, watching the city blur past. His mind drifted between the thoughts of Marcello and Maya.
He just wanted something to think about and the vacation happened to be on his mind. He hoped everything went well.
