After thinking of a way to get rich, Tien felt relieved, like a burden was removed from his shoulders.
"I will take care of the money."
Tien smiled with confidence.
"Until then, Chappa will inform his people that they'll be traveling soon."
"Arrange things here, and then leave for the isolated subcontinent."
"If you guys have trouble reaching that place, ask Yamcha to help you."
"Is that fine with you, Yamcha? Are you okay with helping them?"
Tien wanted Yamcha's support, as the chosen location of his kingdom had incredibly harsh weather conditions.
If normal citizens wanted to reach this subcontinent, someone strong like Yamcha was necessary as a protector.
Yamcha didn't mind this. With Puar away on a vacation and him being newly single, he had nothing better to do.
Might as well help Tien, as this idea seemed interesting; he wanted to see how far this project would go.
"You can count on me."
Yamcha agreed nonchalantly.
"I will safely take everyone to our destination; they will be under my care."
"Chappa, Nam, let's work together and get this done as soon as possible."
Yamcha happily grabbed Chappa and Nam's shoulders; his easygoing attitude stunned the two serious men.
They felt flattered that such a strong man got along with them so casually; Tien had great partners.
With Yamcha's help, they were more confident in reaching the end of the earth without much loss.
"Thanks, Yamcha."
Tien smiled and thanked his friend.
"I will leave them in your care then; please see to it that they reach my place safely."
"Now if you will excuse me, I have to go and make some money. I will be back soon."
Tien waved goodbye and flew into the sky. His actions stunned the students who hadn't seen humans fly.
Chappa and Nam closely watched Tien fly away. Unlike the students, they knew this was a flying technique that uses Ki.
What a fascinating energy! Chappa couldn't wait to learn Ki. He cracked his knuckles and prepared himself.
He will gather everyone and announce the news. They will start a new life under Tien's rule right away.
Whoosh
While they prepared, Tien sped through the skies. His new destination was Goku's house, somewhere near Mount Paozu.
Tien had his exact address on his phone. It was 58N 018, 439 East District. It was a long way from Nam's village.
But unlike when he was with Yamcha, Tien was flying at full speed now. As now he didn't have to slow down for Yamcha.
It didn't take Tien more than an hour to make this journey; he had reached Mount Paozu and was flying towards Goku.
Finding Goku here was simple. Tien went towards the strongest power level he had ever sensed, even stronger than his own.
This big power level had sensed Tien as well. Tien found a spiky-haired man waving at him happily; this man was Son Goku.
"Hey, Tien!"
Goku had a big happy smile on his face.
"You sure have gotten stronger since we last met."
"What brings you here? Are you here to meet my son Gohan?"
Goku radiated so much positivity that even his dangerously high power level didn't feel so dangerous anymore.
Tien smiled back at his rival; this charismatic aura was what had changed the original Tien and so many other villains.
Tien chuckled and waved back. He landed before Goku, then asked with slight confusion in his eyes.
"Gohan?"
Tien tilted his head.
"Who is that? Are you talking about your grandpa Gohan?
Tien said while thinking to himself, that the half-breed Saiyan with the highest potential was born at last.
Goku's child, named after his grandpa, Son Gohan, the future mystic warrior and superhero saiyaman, was born.
But Tien wasn't supposed to know this, Goku hadn't told him about Gohan. So he pretended to not know anything.
Goku himself looked surprised hearing Tien's question, then remembered that he hadn't introduced Gohan yet.
"Oh right, I forgot to tell you."
Goku hit his palm.
"I have a son; his name is Gohan. He is one year old and is a small little thing."
Goku showed with his hands just how small Gohan was; Tien nodded along like the good listener he was.
Goku kept talking about his son for a while, mostly wondering how something so small was supposed to grow big and strong.
He would like to train Gohan in martial arts soon, but according to Chichi he had to wait until Gohan had grown up.
Goku was instinctively aware that Gohan didn't have to wait that long; his son was built different compared to other children.
But Goku was new to parenting, so he decided to listen to Chichi's advice, as her father seemed to know more about this.
After Goku finished talking about Gohan and his family life, he remembered Tien had come here for something else.
"Oh sorry, you came to meet me, and I am rambling on about my son."
Goku apologetically rubbed his head, and Tien laughed. It seems when Gohan was young, Goku still wanted to train his son into a warrior.
But Tien knew in the future, Goku would give up and follow Chichi's advice and wait until Gohan was older before officially training him.
Tien thought this was a shame, as Gohan was a Saiyan and needed to be trained. But this was Goku's family matter.
All he could do was offer him a suggestion, and let the young couple decide what was best for their child.
"Don't worry about it, Goku. As a new dad, it's normal to be excited."
Tien waved his hand.
"That's what I heard Launch say; I wouldn't know about it."
"If you want my opinion, your son should be tougher than normal."
"You can start with some light training; it's good for kids to be active."
Tien gave a small piece of advice and stopped. Anything more and it will have the opposite effect; let Goku figure it out next.
Goku himself seemed happy that Tien agreed with his instincts; he will discuss with Chichi and train Gohan once.
After Goku reached a mental conclusion, he thought he should listen to Tien next and see what his old rival wanted.
"So, if you didn't come here to see Gohan, what did you come here for?"
Goku asked curiously. Tien casually reached into his pocket and pulled out his phone, then opened the map application on it.
Zooming out, he showed Goku the map of the Eastern hemisphere and explained what he was here for.
"Back in the day when you fought against Red Ribbon Army, did you find a weird-looking cave?"
Tien listed the characteristics of the cave he was trying to find. This cave was his goal this time.
This hidden cave held the secret to getting rich. As long as he knew where this cave was, he would be rolling in cash.
