"Father-in-law! Hello there!" Rocco chirped brightly.
"Fufu, hello. Rocco, you're as lively and adorable as ever," Makarov said with a chuckle, settling down beside him.
As Makarov gently patted Rocco's head, a flurry of pink petals scattered through the air, filling Rocco's view.
"Covered in all these petals... What kind of adorable game were you playing this time?" Makarov asked teasingly.
"Hmph! It's not a game!" Rocco puffed up his cheeks indignantly.
"I'm having a very refined flower viewing party!"
Feeling like Makarov was treating what he's doing as childish play, Rocco couldn't help but pout and correct him.
Makarov just tilted his head slightly, smiling warmly.
"Flower viewing, hmm? I don't think I've heard of that before. Is it some sort of game where you pretend to be a little flower fairy?"
"Wrong! Totally wrong! I'm not pretending to be a flower fairy or anything!" Rocco shouted, hopping in frustration.
