By night, the real attack began.
Commander Petel didn't sleep a wink and spent her time in the command center, glancing over flickering projection. Everything seemed to be going well. The waves of sand were flowing forward and back as if it was the real sea.
But when it was midnight, alarms began blaring when an unusual thing happened.
The sea of sands stopped moving entirely. Instead, it began to rapidly form into a tower. The tower reached high above the wall, the points ending in a sharp end.
More sand towers like that rose up quickly and then... they flipped over and became a spear. The giant said spear then spread across, facing the shield.
Atrox, who was still at the wall, stared at the giant sand and his eyes twitched. "They've finally started."
But he didn't move, and Eryndor didn't count it as dangerous enough to take him directly away from the place.
The spears began to rain down on the shield with a brutal clash.
