Soon his consciousness darkened for the 'th time while recovering again at the junction of wandering through just moment after that.

The man kept his patrolling around throughout the cosmos.
This time the consciousness within went through more clear experience while being aware of its situation.
His body is not controlled by him. It is moving in a set pattern everytime and returning to the starting like a broken recorder. Keep playing the same thing again and again.
The consciousness inside knew he never experienced this kind of situation in both lifetimes.
And the situation he is in is like watching a recorded scene with image stone. Which he is going through it himself as if is being manipulated to believe it his memory by making the same thing happen again and again.
It really could be a memory fragment or some kind of illusion which the consciousness inside believes.
