Rope was lying on his bed, his face a 'tired, destroy it' expression.
And beside his bed, lay three sizeable Pokémon, Entei, Arcanine and Charizard all resting here on their backs, motionless. And not far away, in front of the TV, Chimchar and little Lugia, one with his hand and the other with Confusion, were playing a game, still getting high.
And Gastly looked left and right, then called out towards Rope.
"Gas~ (I'm going to go around the backyard!)"
Rope waved his hand lazily as he lay on the bed and said, "Go on, don't get lost. If you get lost, get a Hoothoot to lead the way."
Gastly drifted off immediately after getting the okay.
After all, out of all of Rope's Pokémon, he's the only one that's strictly wild...
Charizard is the initial Gosan, Arcanine was originally a pet, Entei and Little Lugia are both Legendary Pokémon, and Chimchar is an egg.
Finished a 3v3 with Blue and shaved Blue's head.
That's the kind of battle Rope can take out and brag about for ten days and a half.
Though Blue has always been a letdown too I guess... after all, both Alakazam at the beginning and Pidgeot at the end, they were both capable of mega evolutions. Of course, Rope wasn't really serious either. After all, his enhancement itself wasn't on full. And Charizard was also able to mega evolve.
In the midst of each other's watering down, a fairly fair battle ended with Rope's victory.
Rope grabbed the opportunity and hurried to lie down. He said he was coming back to take a rest, but in the end, he didn't rest much even after he returned home.
But it's finally taken care of. At least I don't need to worry that I won't be able to participate in the League Conference because I don't have enough badges.
Speaking of the League Conference...am I forgetting something?
Rope, who was lying on his bed and emptying himself, lazily scratched his head and then thought.
Qualifications? Nope, this one is there as long as it's declared.
Registration? No, this is to be registered at the Indigo Plateau Conference in ten days.
Badge? I've got it...
What's missing?
It's not Pokémon, is it?...
Rope sat up suddenly!
His face showed horror...
Damn it... I forgot that I only have five official Pokémon... Little Lugia can't go in the ball, and Rotom is a prop, so he can't go on the field...
"Pah!"
Rope slammed himself in the head.
Forgot about that one... ten days to go, is he going to get cold feet if he'd rather not????
"Nope, can't swing anymore, hurry up and get up and go find Pokémon..."
And then...the quilt came to life and wrapped Rope tightly around her...
"Help-! "
Rope's moan reached the outside of the house.
Red, who was about to bring Rope his dinner, heard it and pushed his way in.
Red looks at Rope who is squirming under the covers.
"…?"
Looking at Red with a puzzled look on his face, Rope spoke up, "Come on, Red, help me out, I'm going to go out there and collect the Pokémon!!! and get me out from under the covers!"
Pikachu, beside Red, looked at Rope, then locked eyes with Red again.
Then there was a flickering leap of electricity on his body.
"No thank you!"
Rope raised his hand with a serious look on his face, then jerked up the covers to reveal Larvitar's pajamas and said, "I'll just do it myself."
Red: ...<(ˉ^ˉ)>
Then he put the rice on the table in Rope's room and jerked Chimchar and little Lugia's heads.
"You haven't gotten a team together yet?"
Red asked as he sat down in his chair, then spoke up.
Rope got off the bed, then stepped over the three big guys and walked over to the table, picking up what looked to be Professor Oak's handiwork of ramen and said, "That's right, little Lugia is sort of entrusted to my care by Lugia, and I can't return a Sea God when the time comes, if not a Sea God, but at least one of my genera! ..."
Then it would really be something that can only be quelled by a fight.
And if that fight really took place, half of Kanto would have to be lost.
At least if Lugia got mad, the whole of Kanto would have to shake three times. It was too close.
After saying that, Rope picked up his chopsticks and started eating. It had to be said that although Professor Oak did usually get used to whole noodles, but when it really came to making noodles, then Professor Oak's craftsmanship was really one of a kind.
Red thought for a moment, then nodded rather seriously, thinking that it would be best not to do such a thing, the cost of offending Lugia was just too great. So big that none of them wanted to try it.
So Rope said rather helplessly, "But you know, really letting me just take in some random Pokémon... I can't do that... picking and choosing is my norm..." "It's better to have a few than a lot, that's what trainers who are in pursuit of something will choose."
After all, the resources at a trainer's disposal were limited, so breeding a Pokémon required more thought, with personality, traits, and even gender to be considered, and of course, most importantly, compatibility with the trainer.
Some trainers just aren't interested in fire-type Pokémon, so what can you do?
And if the breeding goes wrong...that kind of price is not something they want to pay...it's too heavy. It's not just a waste of resources, it's a much more emotional and time-consuming waste. This was why League insisted that children before they became trainers, and even a lot of trainers, learn about breeding and common sense breeding properly.
After all, only through familiarity could one breed in detail and gain the information they wanted from these subtleties.
For example, whether or not the aptitude is compatible or not, and so on... That's why it's not forbidden to breed a Pokémon, but for a trainer, picking a Pokémon itself is a matter that deserves a lot of caution.
Red thought for a moment, then said, "Then do you want to go to the town and take a look?"
Rope scratched his head in confusion, "Pallet Town?I remember that there shouldn't be any breeding houses or anything like that in town either..."
Red shook his head and said, "Recently, there's a new breeding house in town, and it's quite popular, but I've never been there, do you want to go and check out the situation?"
Rope thought about it and nodded, "Good, anyway, just bringing it here won't be able to expect the Pokémon to come out."
Rope looked at the three Pokémon lying dead on the ground with contempt and said, "These three single dogs, it's okay to lay an egg for me..."
Charizard looked at Rope, then rolled his eyes widely.
Entei did the same.
Only Arcanine didn't even bother to pay attention to Rope.
He's a dog ah, he's also single ah, there's no problem with what the boss said!
Rope shook his head then got up, pulling a set of a pair out of the closet before changing nimbly.
"Going out alone? Do you need me to accompany you?"
Red asked.
Rope waved a hand and said, "No need. No one can hurt me, and it just so happens that if I can't find any suitable Pokémon at the end of the day, then I'll simply just wander into the surrounding forest. Maybe I'll find a suitable one."
Thanks to Professor Oak's huge backyard, and the countless high-quality Pokémon in the backyard, the quality of the Pokémon around Pallet Town could be said to be quite high.
You can even see three royal families in the forest. The numbers weren't large, but the population did exist.
Rope didn't want a three royal families at first, but after wandering around the forest, he ended up running into Charmander, and I have to say that League is really dedicated to the cultivation of three royal families. These three royal families Pokémon could really fulfill most trainers' needs.
"Then be careful on your own."
Red still instructed with some uneasiness.
Rope laughed and said, "You should tell those people to be more careful, if they really come together, I won't necessarily be able to stop."
After saying that, Rope had also gotten dressed, then picked up the dishes on the table and simply opened the door and walked out.
"Hoo! (Be careful!)"
"Woo~ (Remember to bring back some delicious food!)"
Chimchar and little Lugia commanded without looking up.
"Got it got it got it..."
Rope waved his hand, then said helplessly.
Then the door to the room was slammed heavily shut.
Red also laughed lightly and shook his head.
A little later, he too got up and left.
And so the house once again fell into that lazy atmosphere. Chimchar and little Lugia were playing a game. Entei, Charizard and Arcanine were sleeping.

Pallet Town
Rope strolls through this modest town. Although it was now working hours, there were still a lot of people in this town, even at this hour, idly wandering around the streets, or planting vegetables in their homes, or playing with Pokémon.
Pallet Town is similar to the Oak family's ancestral land, so it's natural to eat and drink without worrying, although the Oak family has basically withdrawn from Pallet Town.
But the ancestral land can't be put down... So the townspeople of Pallet Town are all carefully selected by the Oak family.
Over the years, Pallet Town has produced a lot of excellent trainers and researchers, as well as many breeders, coordinators, and even some movie stars.
Those from Pallet Town naturally carried the Oak family's label. Of course, they also enjoyed the favorable treatment that came with this status.
The price? Of course there would be, except that with the Oak family's current size, there were very few opportunities where these people would be used.
Even enjoying a typical representative like Red would easily not be used.
Of course, Rope doesn't count. He was considered a direct descendant of the Oak family. Though not using the last name Oak. But the old guys of the Oak family also regarded him as a member of the Oak family.
If he was willing to go for this position of the Oak family head, there were also still people willing to support him.
Of course, if he was willing to marry Daisy, then don't even think about it. Not being the head of the house?
No way.
After Rope became a professor, it could be said that the voices within the Oak family supporting him to become the head of the family were getting higher and higher.
After all, although the Oak family's combat power hadn't been bad, it was the research that was still the most famous.
And according to Rope's memories, if memory serves me correctly, Blue also became a researcher in the end.
However, because Rope was there, Rope didn't realize that Blue was interested in research until now.
Come to think of it, Blue becoming a researcher in the manga Rope had read might not have been without pressure from the family.
Of course, now that Rope is there, there's not much buzz in the family in favor of Blue studying research. After all, there's no shortage of cries in favor of Rope being head of the family.
The one who shouted the most enthusiastically was Blue...
Of course, the one who supported Blue the most to ascend to the position of the family head was naturally Rope as well.
These two guys were like two crabs that had been thrown into a fish trap.
Tugging at each other's hind legs, neither one letting anyone have a good time.
"Oh, it's Rope! Long time no see!"
Just as Rope was lost in thought there was a gentle voice that reached Rope's ears. Dragging him out of his own world.
Rope fixed his mind, then looked at the gentle and generous woman who spoke out.
"Yeah, it's been a long time, Aunt Delia! It's been a while, how have you and Ash been?"
Rope asked with a smile.
Rope knew Delia and Ash well, naturally. Although Rope was on good terms with every household on Pallet Town. But really the best relationships were of course Red and his mom, and Ash and his mom Delia.
This is all typical of a tiger's father.
According to Professor Oak, Red's father was a very strong trainer. And Ash's father was a very strong breeder (Made that up myself, not conclusive.)
Unfortunately both ended up dying young.
And left behind these two lonely mothers and sons. But fortunately, with the Oak family and Professor Oak's help. Both families were doing well.
"Ash, he's fine, he's just been going to see a breeding house that opened up in town recently. The good thing is that in a few months he'll be able to travel too."
"But I have other worries now that he's gone traveling. When you're a mom, you really do worry about your child no matter what..."
At that point, Delia suddenly paused.
Because she suddenly remembered...Rope was also a child whose mother was not around...it seemed that Daisy had picked up the child...
Rope's face was still normal, but it could be seen that there was some stiffness.
Although Rope's performance was subtle. But the sensitive her still perceived it.
"I'm sorry, Rope, I forgot..."
"It's okay auntie! I'll be able to meet my mom soon!"
Rope smiled then said.
Delia was still relieved to see that Rope didn't take it to heart.
"That's good then, looks like you got a lot out of this trip out."
"That's true! By the way Aunt Delia, you just mentioned the Breeding House right? What's the deal with that breeding House?"
Rope changed the topic quite naturally.
"Oh, the Breeding House, it's a child named Kaedenatsu who returned to Pallet Town!"
"That kid was a high-level Breeder, then came to town and opened a Breeding House!"
"It's rumored that a lot of Pokémon are obedient at her place! And takes in a lot of Pokémon that have been injured in the wild."
Delia opened her mouth and said quite a bit.
Rope, however, frowned, then asked suspiciously, "Is it someone you don't recognize?"
Delia gave a reminiscent expression, the girlish expression had a different beauty on her face with a hint of maturity.
"Yeah, but Professor Oak came to see it before. And then it even complimented Kaedenatsu, saying that her cultivation techniques are really amazing."
Then Rope's frown deepened.
