Chapter 141 - some day am I right?

As I wake up under my father's wing, he seems to be still a so I jab my claws on his belly to wake gim up.

Father stirred, his eyes slowly opening as he let out a gentle chuckle. "Ah, good morning, Tharros," he said, his voice husky from sleep. "I see you're eager to start the day."

He stretched his wings, arching his back in a languid motion. "Let's go find some breakfast, shall we?" he suggested, his eyes sparkling with warmth.

I nodded enthusiastically, my stomach growling with anticipation. Father smiled and nudged me gently with his snout. "After breakfast, we can head out to explore. Maybe we'll find some new flying routes or discover hidden caves."

The prospect of adventure filled me with excitement, and I couldn't wait to get started.

I laughed. "Or you be all gluttony again and get fatten up again!"

Father's eyes widened in mock offense, and he let out a hearty laugh. "Hey, watch it, young one! I am not that gluttonous, am I?" he teased, his voice dripping with amusement.

He playfully nudged me with his snout, nearly knocking me off balance. "Besides, someone has to keep the scales filled out around here. Can't have you looking like a scrawny little hatchling, can I?"

I giggled at Father's antics, feeling happy and carefree in his presence.

I smiled "Yeah the one that often gets a. Stomach ache!" Father grinned and got up his majestic and muscler body and said,"You do have a good point of that!"

Father chuckled and rubbed his stomach, "Ah, yes, maybe I do indulge a bit too much in the finer things in life." He smiled, his eyes twinkling with amusement. "But it's worth it, don't you think?"

He stretched his wings, shaking out his scales, and then nodded towards the cave entrance. "Shall we go find some breakfast? I'm famished!"

I grinned, knowing that Father's appetite would never be satisfied for long. I followed him out of the cave, excited for our next adventure together.

As we stepped out into the bright morning light, the warm sun on our scales felt wonderful. Father took to the skies, his wings beating powerful and strong, and I followed close behind, mimicking his movements.

We soared over the landscape, the wind rushing past us, and the scent of fresh meat wafting through the air. Father's stomach growled loudly, and he chuckled. "I think I smell something delicious. Let's go investigate!"

We swooped down, our eyes scanning the ground below for the source of the tantalizing aroma. Father's excitement was infectious, and I couldn't wait to see what we would find.

As we scanned the area, we saw a herd of elk graze grass.

Father's eyes lit up, and he smiled, "Ah, perfect! Fresh elk meat, just what I was hoping for." He began to circle around the herd, his eyes fixed on a particularly plump elk.

I watched, fascinated, as Father stalked his prey, his movements silent and stealthy. He nodded to me, and I knew it was time to stay back and let him hunt. I settled onto a nearby rock, watching as Father swooped down, his claws extended.

With swift precision, Father snatched an elk from the herd, his claws wrapping tightly around it. The elk let out a startled bleat as Father soared back up into the sky, his wings beating powerfully.

As he landed nearby, I hopped down from my rock and approached him, my stomach growling in anticipation. Father smiled, his eyes gleaming with satisfaction, and began to prepare our meal.

The sound of tearing flesh and the scent of fresh meat filled the air, and my hunger grew. Father handed me a chunk of elk meat, and I devoured it eagerly, savoring the rich flavor.

The warmth of the sun on my scales was comforting as I ate, and the taste of the elk meat was incredibly satisfying. Father watched me with a pleased smile, happy to see me enjoying our hunt.

As we ate, the sounds of the wilderness surrounded us - birds chirping, leaves rustling, and the distant rumble of a waterfall. The peacefulness of the moment was a nice contrast to the thrill of the hunt.

After we finished eating, Father suggested we find a nearby stream to drink from and cool off. I nodded enthusiastically, and we set off together, enjoying the beautiful scenery and each other's company.

As we walked, Father pointed out different plants and animals, teaching me about the world around us. I listened intently, soaking up his knowledge and wisdom like a sponge.

As we followed the stream, the cool water sparkled in the sunlight, and I couldn't resist dipping my claws in it. Father chuckled and did the same, splashing water playfully at me.

We drank from the stream, feeling the refreshing water soothe our parched throats. After quenching our thirst, Father suggested we take a short rest in the shade nearby. We settled down, enjoying the tranquility of the surroundings.

Father began to tell me stories of his own adventures when he was a young dragon, and I listened with wide eyes, fascinated by his tales of bravery and exploration. The warmth of the sun and the sound of the stream lulled me into a relaxed state, and I felt grateful for this special bonding time with Father.

"When I was about your age, Tharros," Father began, a faraway look in his eyes, "I used to explore the mountains far to the east. I would fly for hours, feeling the wind beneath my wings, and discover hidden caves and secret waterfalls."

He chuckled, a low rumble that made me giggle. "One time, I stumbled upon a beehive hidden in a tree. I didn't know any better, so I tried to grab the honey with my claws. Let's just say I learned a valuable lesson about bees that day!"

I laughed at the image of Father covered in bees, and he smiled, his eyes twinkling with amusement. "But it was a valuable lesson, Tharros. It taught me to respect the creatures of the wild and to always be cautious when exploring new territories."

As Father continued his story, I listened with rapt attention, imagining the thrill of discovery and the joy of exploration. His tales sparked something within me, and I felt a growing desire to have my own adventures and make memories with Father.

As Father continued his story, I listened with rapt attention, imagining the thrill of discovery and the joy of exploration. His tales sparked something within me, and I felt a growing desire to have my own adventures and make memories with Father.

"Tell me more about your adventures, Father," I asked, my curiosity piqued. Father's eyes lit up, and he leaned in, a sly grin spreading across his face.

"Well, Tharros, one of my most memorable adventures was when I discovered a hidden underground lake deep within the mountains. The water was crystal clear, and the caverns were filled with glittering crystals. It was like flying through a starry night sky."

I gasped in awe, my imagination running wild with the image. "That sounds amazing, Father! Did you explore the entire cave system?"

Father nodded, his eyes sparkling with excitement. "I did, Tharros. And I found all sorts of wonders, from towering stalactites to underground rivers. It was a truly magical place."

As Father continued to tell his stories, I felt my own sense of adventure growing. I couldn't wait to explore the world beyond our home and make my own memories with Father.

As he was telling his story, Father stomach growled again.

Father laughed and rubbed his belly. "I guess I'm not quite full from our earlier meal, Tharros. Maybe we should find some more food before we head back home."

I grinned, knowing that Father's appetite was always up for a challenge. "Let's go find some fish in the stream, Father! I saw some swimming in the shallows earlier."

Father's eyes lit up at the suggestion, and together we set off along the stream, searching for our next meal. The thrill of the hunt was always exciting, and I loved sharing these moments with Father.

As we walked along the stream, the water rippling over smooth rocks, Father pointed out the best spots to catch fish. He showed me how to stalk them quietly, moving slowly and deliberately to avoid startling them.

I watched intently, eager to learn from Father's expertise. After a few moments of stalking, Father nodded to me, and I knew it was my turn to try. I crouched low, my claws poised to strike, and then swiftly snatched a fish from the water.

Father cheered, his voice echoing through the valley. "Well done, Tharros! You're a natural!" I beamed with pride, feeling a sense of accomplishment. Father and I enjoyed our fresh catch, savoring the taste of the stream's bounty.

Father stomach growled again, and he giggled "Tharros I will go and eat something, and I will bring it here to eat myself, and you can catch some fish here to eat!"

I laughed at Father's antics, shaking my head in amusement. "Alright, Father, go find something to eat. I'll catch some fish for myself and wait for you here."

Father grinned and took off, flying towards a nearby thicket. I watched him go, then turned my attention back to the stream, focusing on catching some fish for my meal. The sun beat down on me, warming my scales as I waited patiently for the perfect moment to strike.

I sighed and whispered myself, "He going to have find something that is bigger than his 77-meter tall body."

I chuckled to myself, thinking about how Father's massive size would require a substantial meal to satisfy his hunger. "Let's hope he finds something worthy of his appetite," I whispered, smiling at the thought of Father's enormous size and insatiable hunger. I refocused on the stream, waiting for the perfect moment to snatch another fish.

Just as I was about to strike, I heard a loud crashing sound coming from the direction Father had flown off to. I turned to see what was happening and caught a glimpse of Father emerging from the thicket, a massive aurochs clutched in his claws.

Father's eyes sparkled with satisfaction as he flew towards me, the aurochs dangling precariously from his grasp. I couldn't help but laugh at the sight, impressed by Father's hunting prowess. "Looks like you found something worthy of your appetite, Father!" I exclaimed, grinning from ear to ear.

Father chuckled, his deep laughter rumbling through the air as he landed beside me. "Indeed, Tharros! This aurochs should keep me satisfied for a while." He carefully set the aurochs down on the ground, and I watched as he began to prepare his meal.

As the savory aroma of roasting meat filled the air, my stomach growled in anticipation. I had caught a few fish while Father was away, and now we sat down together to enjoy our meals. The taste of the fish was delicious, but I couldn't help but be fascinated by Father's aurochs, savoring each bite with relish.

After he is done eating, Father lay down on the ground with his back with his now massive bulging belly out, and his belly jiggled and wobbled.

I couldn't help but burst out laughing at the sight of Father's bulging belly. It was a comical sight, and I giggled uncontrollably as his belly jiggled and wobbled with each gentle movement. Father chuckled, his eyes twinkling with amusement, and patted his belly contentedly.

"Ah, Tharros, I think I've eaten enough for a while," he said, his voice filled with satisfaction. I grinned, still chuckling, and lay down beside him, feeling the warmth of the sun on my scales. We basked in the peaceful atmosphere, enjoying each other's company in comfortable silence.

I question, "So Father, how do you feel right now? Any stomach pain?"

Father let out a contented sigh and rubbed his belly gently. "Actually, Tharros, I'm feeling quite...full. But surprisingly, no stomach pain yet. Maybe I'm getting used to eating massive amounts of food."

He chuckled and looked at me with a mischievous glint in his eye. "Although, I think I might need a nap soon to digest all this. Care to join me?"

I smiled and nodded, knowing that after a big meal, a nap was exactly what we both needed. We settled in together, and soon the sound of Father's gentle snores filled the air, accompanied by my own soft breathing.

Father than rolled to on his side and continued to nap.

As Father rolled onto his side, his massive body settled into the earth of Tenari, and his snores grew slightly softer. I watched him for a moment, feeling a sense of contentment wash over me. The warm sun on my scales, the sound of the stream babbling in the distance, and Father's peaceful slumber all combined to lull me into a relaxed state.

I closed my eyes, feeling the gentle breeze rustle my scales, and let the soothing sounds of nature carry me away into a light doze, keeping watch over Father as he slept. The peaceful atmosphere of Tenari's wilderness wrapped around us, a serene haven for us to rest and recharge.

I open my eyes and walk onto Father massive belly and climb up to it and lay there.

As I climbed onto Father's massive belly, he stirred slightly, his snores momentarily interrupted. He smiled in his sleep, a gentle, contented smile, and his belly relaxed beneath me. I settled into the gentle curve of his stomach, feeling the warmth of his scales and the rise and fall of his chest as he breathed.

The sensation was surprisingly comfortable, and I felt myself drifting off to sleep again, lulled by Father's steady breathing and the warmth of his body. Father's massive form cradled me, making me feel safe and protected. I closed my eyes, letting the peacefulness of the moment wash over me.

An hour passed, and Father woke up and looked at his belly "it seem the food I ate not fully digested yet! Oh well, Tharros, can you get off my belly pleas."

I giggled and slowly climbed off Father's belly, stretching my legs and shaking off the slight numbness from lying on his warm scales. "Sorry, Father. I didn't mean to weigh you down."

Father chuckled and gently patted his belly. "No worries, Tharros. You're always welcome to use me as a pillow. But I think it's time we headed back home, don't you?"

I nodded in agreement, and together we stood up, shaking off the dirt and leaves that had accumulated on our scales during our nap. With a stretch, we prepared to take to the skies and fly back to our home in Tenari.

I giggled. "Hey father, would Mother scold you again for overeating again?"

Father's expression turned slightly sheepish, and he rubbed the back of his neck. "Ah, well, your mother might have a few words to say about my eating habits, yes. But I'm sure she'll understand that a dragon's appetite can't always be controlled."

I chuckled, knowing that Mother often playfully scolded Father for his voracious appetite. "I'm sure she'll just smile and say 'again, dear?'"

Father laughed, his deep rumble echoing through the valley. "Yes, something like that. Shall we head back and face the music?"

I murmured, "Mother will yell to Father like always when he overeat and no matter what."

Father's expression turned slightly wistful, and he nodded knowingly. "Yes, your mother does have a way of expressing her concerns about my eating habits. But I suppose it's all out of love, and I appreciate her looking out for my well-being."

He smiled and ruffled my scales. "Shall we fly back home and see what wisdom your mother has for me today, Tharros?"

I nodded "yes Father and let see how Mother scolding goes!"

I grinned mischievously, knowing that watching Mother scold Father was always entertaining. Father chuckled and nodded, and together we spread our wings, taking to the skies of Tenari as we flew back home, ready to face Mother's loving reprimand.

As we soared through the skies, the wind rushing past us, we finally landed at the entrance of our mountain cave. The opening was a large, yawning mouth in the side of the mountain, and we slipped inside, the cool darkness enveloping us.

As we entered the main cavern, Mother looked up from her seat by the fire, her light green scales glinting in the flickering light. Her eyes narrowed slightly as she took in Father's still-rounded belly. "Aetherius, I see you've been enjoying yourself again," she said, a hint of amusement and exasperation in her voice.

Father chuckled and rubbed the back of his neck, looking sheepish. "Just a little snack, my dear. Nothing too out of the ordinary."

Mother raised an eyebrow. "A little snack? You look like you've swallowed a small mountain."

I snickered, enjoying the familiar banter between my parents. The younger siblings, Lyriath, Vyraxys, Nyxoria, Lyrixa, Kaidorix, Kieraxys, and Niamon, were scattered around the cavern, engaged in various activities. Lyriath was practicing his flying skills, while Vyraxys and Nyxoria were playing a game of hide-and-seek among the rocks. Lyrixa was busy crafting a necklace out of shiny stones, and Kaidorix was trying to "help" by handing her pebbles. Kieraxys was chasing after Niamon, who was giggling and running around in circles.

Mother shook her head good-naturedly. "I swear, Aetherius, one of these days you're going to turn into a walking mountain range."

Father grinned. "Well, at least I'll be a majestic sight to behold."

The cave erupted into laughter, and I smiled, feeling grateful for the warmth and love that filled our little dragon family.

As the laughter died down, Mother stood up and walked over to Father, her eyes twinkling with affection. "You know, Aetherius, I think it's time for you to work off some of that extra weight. Why don't you take the younger ones on a flying lesson?"

Father's face lit up. "Ah, an excellent idea, my dear! Who's ready to take to the skies?"

The younger siblings cheered and gathered around Father, eager to start their flying lesson. Lyriath, being the most experienced, took on a mentorship role, while Vyraxys and Nyxoria bounced with excitement. Lyrixa and Kaidorix argued over who would get to fly closest to Father, and Kieraxys and Niamon simply shouted "Fly! Fly!" at the top of their lungs.

I smiled, watching the chaos unfold. "I'll stay here with Mother and help with dinner," I said, feeling happy to contribute to the family's meal.

Mother nodded, smiling. "That would be wonderful, Tharros. Let's get started on the preparations."

Together, Mother and I headed to the cooking area, where we began preparing a hearty meal of roasted meats and steaming vegetables. The sounds of laughter and playful roars echoed through the cave as Father and the younger siblings took to the skies, their flying lesson underway.

Father mumbled, "Even know she knows that when I eat food and it digested, it becomes muscle mass."

Mother playfully rolled her eyes. "Oh, Aetherius, you're not fooling anyone with that excuse. You know as well as I do that a good portion of that food is just going straight to...ahem...storage."

Father chuckled, his eyes twinkling with amusement. "Well, maybe a little storage for later, but it's all part of being a majestic dragon, right?"

Mother shook her head good-naturedly. "You're impossible, Aetherius. But I love you anyway."

The banter between them was warm and familiar, and I smiled, feeling grateful for the loving relationship between my parents.

I question "Mother what do you mean by storage?" Mother look at me answers.

Mother smiled and said, "Oh, Tharros, when I say 'storage,' I mean that some of the food your father eats gets stored as fat reserves, rather than being used for energy or building muscle. It's like having a backup supply of energy, but if it gets too big, it can be hard to move around and stay healthy."

I nodded, understanding. "So, like when we dragons store fat in our bellies to survive during lean times?"

Mother nodded. "Exactly, Tharros. But with your father's love of food, sometimes that storage can get a bit...overfull."

Father yelled "HEY I'M SERIOUS THAT IT WILL TURN INTO MUSCLE MASS NOT ALL OF IT TURN INTO FAT!" Father roar and Mother nodded.

Mother chuckled and patted Father's arm. "Alright, alright, Aetherius. I believe you. Maybe some of it will turn into muscle mass. But just remember, a little bit of exercise wouldn't hurt to keep things in balance."

Father grinned, still looking a bit defensive. "I'll get right on that, my dear. After dinner."

The cave erupted into laughter again, and I smiled, enjoying the playful dynamic between my parents.

As the laughter died down, Lyriath landed back in the cave, followed by the rest of the siblings. They were all grinning from ear to ear, their scales glinting with excitement. "We had an amazing flight, Father!" Lyriath exclaimed. "The thermals were perfect, and we soared through the skies like pros!" The other siblings nodded in agreement, their faces flushed with exhilaration.

Father, his belly still massively bulging from his recent feast, beamed with pride. "I'm glad to hear that, Lyriath. You're all becoming skilled flyers. Now, let's get some dinner. I'm famished... again."

The siblings cheered and gathered around the food, their hunger and excitement palpable. Mother and I smiled at each other, happy to see the family enjoying each other's company.

We sat down to eat, savoring the delicious meal and each other's company. Father leaned back contentedly, his bulging belly a testament to his recent eating exploits. The cave was filled with the warm sounds of laughter and conversation, a sense of contentment and love filling the air.

After Father had done eating and his belly bulging even more, Mother sighed. "Let get some sleep!"

Mother's words were met with nods of agreement from the siblings, who were all yawning and stretching their wings. Father, his belly bulging impressively, grinned sheepishly and stood up, his movements a bit more labored than usual.

As we all made our way to our respective nesting areas, Mother shot Father a playful glance. "I think someone might need to work off some of that extra weight soon," she said with a smile.

Father chuckled good-naturedly and wrapped his claws around Mother, pulling her close. "I'll get right on that, my dear. After a nice long nap."

The cave grew quiet as we settled in for the night, the soft sounds of snoring and gentle rustling filling the air. I smiled, feeling grateful for the warmth and love of my family, and drifted off to sleep surrounded by those I loved.

As I settled in for the night, I snuggled up under Father's wing, feeling the warmth and comfort of his presence. But tonight, his massively bulging belly proved to be an unexpected bonus – it made a perfect pillow! I rested my head on the soft, rounded mound, feeling a bit of a giggle at the absurdity of it all.

Father smiled down at me, his eyes twinkling with amusement. "I guess my belly's good for something, huh?" he said, his voice low and rumbling.

I nodded, already feeling my eyelids growing heavy. Mother smiled and leaned over to kiss Father's cheek, then mine. "Goodnight, my loves," she whispered.

As the cave grew quiet, I drifted off to sleep, lulled by the sound of Father's gentle snores and the warmth of his wing wrapped around me. His bulging belly rose and fell with each breath, cradling my head in a soft, comforting rhythm.

As I drifted off to sleep, I felt a deep sense of contentment wash over me. The warmth of Father's wing, the softness of his belly, and the love that filled our little cave all combined to make me feel safe and happy.

The last thing I remembered was Father's gentle voice whispering, "Sleep tight, little one," before I slipped into a peaceful slumber.
