As the dust settled, A set of eyes watched the battlefield where Ifrit and Elias just fought. It was Tomoe who was still manifested, sitting with Lyra caressing her hair.
Tomoe: "What are battle, I hope Gabriel's Child managed to pull through against
such an opponent."
Tomoe noticed Lyra was beginning to wake. This was good, She was nearly at her limit for her Manifestation time. As Lyras eyes opened, Tomoe disappeared back inside of her. She looked around confused for a moment before seeing Lorcans body.
Lyra: "Lorcan!"
She jolted up quickly, immediately regretting that decision due to the extreme pain she was feeling. She managed to stand with her sword, gritting her teeth through the pain. She reached Lorcan and put her head on his chest. She heard the faintest heartbeat. A sigh of relief left her mouth As she leaned back. she glanced at the ruined battlefield noticing a figure standing through the dust. Her heart skipped a beat when she saw Ifrit standing there. He was burn horribly and had blood pouring from his mouth. Just as Lyra assumed the worst she noticed an odd spec of fire on Ifrits chest. Suddenly it grew with a Fury as his whole body was consumed by it. His skin slowly melted Till there was only bone, then his bone began turning to ash. There was another figure who stood behind Ifrit during this. It was Elias, burned all over with charred blood sticking to his skin but still Elias nonetheless. Lyra jumped seeing him.
Lyra: "ELIAS!! Over here Elias!"
Elias managed a tired and weak wave before plopping on the ground. The stars were out now. Elias watched them as he saw a shooting star.
Elias: 'Gabriel….'
Gabriel: 'Yes Elias?'
Elias: 'Is it over…. Did we… Did we win..?'
There was a long pause of silence before Gabriel responded.
Gabriel: 'Elias… Youve won this battle but… Im afraid its-'
Suddenly and unexpectedly Elias heard a Loud VWOOSH! A large portal appeared and a massive Tidal wave at least One hundred feet tall came crashing through it. The wave swept up Elias and brought him towards Lyra and Lorcan. She premptively grabbed hold of Lorcan as the wave hit them. Not long after the water reached Aria and Kairos. It woke her up and in her confusion she grabbed hokd of a now barely conscious Kairos. It Corralled all five of them into one spot near the beginning of a nearby mountain range. As the water dissipates, they saw the massive portal. On the other side they saw the silhouette of an Island sized Sea Serpent but all that came through was a short skinny looking man. He had short blue hair with purple and green streaks and his eyes were blacked out except noticeable blue pupils. He wore a sleak suit like outfit as he stepped closer.
Mysterious Individual: "Oh wow, that was some spectacle! Almost makes me jealous I couldn't be part of it. But unfortunately I wasn't expecting Failure on Ifrits part."
Aria hugged Kairos close as she felt horrible fear. Lyra instinctively drew her sword and stood over Lorcan. Elias became sweating from the pure pressure this man was exuding.
Elias: 'Gabriel… who is this…?'
Gabriel: 'Gauranteed Death… its the Lord of Envy…. Leviathan, Demon King of the Sea!'
