Caitlin runs some more tests on Barry and finds nothing wrong with him. Again, she is surprised by the state of Barry's body. His body has gotten even better.
Barry's body is now definitely in superhuman territory, even without his speed.
"Still finding it hard to talk to me?" Barry asks as he notices Caitlin trying her best not to get personal with him.
Caitlin stops whatever she is doing and looks at Barry. "It's not like that... It's just..." "You don't need to explain yourself. Look, you don't want this to happen--" Barry says, waving his finger between him and her, "--so I am okay with it. We just kissed once, and it happened when our emotions were heightened. So don't bash yourself over it. We are still friends," Barry ends his speech with a smile.
Caitlin smiles back at him and nods her head, but deep inside, she feels some kind of loss. She wonders if she made the right decision rejecting Barry.
There is no point second-guessing herself; the ship has already sailed, and Barry seems to be okay with them just being friends.
"Thank you," Caitlin says. Barry smiles back at her.
"So, how are my readings?" Barry asks, deciding to change the subject.
"Exceptional. You had actually suffered from a 3rd-degree frostbite, but your body managed to heal itself perfectly within minutes. Your regeneration ability has gotten even better, and your body is in much greater shape than before," she says as her eyes fall on his chiseled body.
"Stop drooling over my body, Miss Snow, and hand me over my t-shirt," Barry teases her as he catches her staring. "I was not!" she defends herself while handing Barry his t-shirt, clearly startled by his comment.
"Sure, you weren't," Barry says with a teasing smile before leaving the medbay.

A few more weeks pass, and the existence of Flash is starting to get the attention of the city officials. They can no longer deny that there is someone out there running around at super speed, saving people.
But they don't know how to deal with this anomaly. Do they just let this blur run around taking justice in its hand, or should they step up? And even if they do decide to step up, how do they catch something they can't even see?
While the city continues to fuss about the Flash as his name starts being mentioned all over the internet, the man in question can be found running through the city at night, trying to stop an ongoing robbery.
This time, the thieves seem to have gotten their hands on some high-tech supercars, and the police are struggling to catch them. But no matter how fast these cars are, they are not as fast as the Flash.
With team flash in his ears, he soon catches up with the speeding supercars. No matter how fast the cars are driving, they still seem to be standing still in Barry's eyes.
He approaches the cars and finds the door shut tight. There is no way he will be able to stop these cars without damaging them.
Just as Barry was trying to think of a way to stop these cars without severely damaging them, he felt something press against the side of his neck.
At first, it's just a little pressure, but then he feels a sting. His neurons are firing at the speed of light, warning him about something trying to penetrate his neck.
Barry immediately brings his hand to his neck and stops whatever is trying to pierce through him.
Stopping the object before it penetrates even deeper, he looks at it and realizes that it's a bullet.
Surprise flashes in his eyes as he realizes that someone was able to shoot at him while he is moving at super speed. He is still not running as fast as he can, but still, to actually shoot at him while he is moving at super speed is inhuman.
Barry immediately turns to look in the direction from where the bullet came, but he sees nothing.
Suddenly, he sees another bullet coming right towards him. He only saw it while it was a few meters away from his face. The night's darkness managed to mask the bullet.
Barry catches the bullet and then directly runs towards the direction from where the bullet came. But even after covering over two miles of distance, he doesn't find anything.
"Barry, what's going on? You just ran miles away from the thieves," Barry hears Cisco's sped-up voice. With how fast he runs, Cisco made the device in Barry's ear to speed up everything they tell him and slow down anything Barry says while running at super speed.
But Team Flash still has human limits. For them to have a conversation back and forth, Barry has to wait a lot before he gets a response from his team
"Someone just shot at me," Barry says, stopping to talk properly with the team.
"Shot at you? While you are running? Nice joke," Cisco says.
"I am not kidding, dude. I just caught two bullets, one of them almost penetrated my skin," Barry says.
"Are you okay?" Caitlin questions, worried.
"I am fine. Where are the thieves right now?" Barry asks. Since he can find the man that targeted him, he should at least stop the car thieves.
"They are not far away from you. You should be able to catch up to them," Caitlin says.
"Alright," Barry says before entering flash time and going after the thieves.
He soon catches up to them and breaks the windows of the supercars to drag the thieves out of the car and apprehend them. He couldn't think of any other way.
It might cost some money to repair these shattered windows, but the cars will continue to be in fine condition.
