Chapter 12: First steps
The students are sitting in class then the bell rings
Ms. Aikawa: Your guys are dismissed (Leaves the class)
All the students start packing up to leave
Nendai: Hey Kazuo, want to head to the gym with me?
Kazuo: Yeah let's go...
Horiato: Excuse me, everyone, before you leave I would like to discuss something with you all
Everyone stops to listen
Horiato: Sit down everyone, I won't be taking a lot of your time
Everyone gets seated
Kazuo( in his head): What's all this about
Horiato: I would like that everyone here could get along and get to know each other. I'm asking this because I feel like it will become necessary for everyone to know each other in case of an exam or something. If anyone here objects to this say so now.
Hina (stands up): I think that's a great idea. If we get to know each other now we won't have any problems in the future.
Horiato: if no one else has anything to say I guess I'll start. I'm Horiato Hakane, I hope that we can all get along and if you need any help please feel free to call me. Thank you for listening
Kazuo (in his head): He seems like the person who always takes charge, he'll make a good team leader.
Hina: Guess I'll go next! Hello guys, I'm Hina Toichi. I'm very good at athletics and I love meeting new people!
Kazuo( In his head): She seems like the type to try and be too friendly with everyone, definitely a people person.
Seito: Listen, we don't need to know what kind of person you are. You can get to know each other on your own time, what we need to know is people's fighting style and what magic they use. By doing that we can form teams, that little training session the teacher has us do won't give us the information we need.
Nendai: I fully agree with what he said, you can make friends on your own time. Making friends won't benefit the whole class, knowing each other's capabilities for future tests.
Seito: Exactly
Horiato: I get what you're saying, but shouldn't we first be well acquainted?
Nendai: That you can do on your own, we need to prepare for upcoming tests
Hina: Okay! Everyone, let's have a vote on what we should do first, okay?
Seito: Works for me
Nendai: Yeah that's fine
Horiato: Okay then let's get started. All of you who agree with me and Hina raise your hands
Some students raise their hands
Seito: Those of you who agree with me and Nendai raise your hands
The rest of the students raise their hands
Seito: It looks like the majority votes on our idea, and then it's settled
Horiato: Very well then, we can discuss about this tomorrow
Nendai: Alright then.
All the students start to leave
Kazuo: You made the right call there
Nendai: I hope so
Seito: Don't worry about the rest, this'll be more beneficial for the class. The faster we solve this problem the better
