Yan Rouxi grabbed Xia Yuqing's wrist in shock, her eyes wide as if she couldn't believe what she had just heard. "You were in an accident? Why didn't I know about this? I didn't see any vision of you being in danger… wait, let me check," she said quickly.
Before Xia Yuqing could stop her, Yan Rouxi had already clasped her wrist and shut her eyes. Silence fell between them. Seconds ticked by, and the expression on Yan Rouxi's face slowly shifted. She looked serious, then a faint frown creased her brow, and finally, confusion clouded her expression.
A few more seconds passed before her eyes snapped open, her lips parting slightly as she mumbled something inaudible under her breath.
