As the commander's assistant was overwhelmed with sadness, concluding that the commander was dead, his thoughts drifted toward Seiya.
What about him? Did they also get him or did he peacefully sleep through all this?
His head snapped toward the door to the chambers, his legs leaving the floor and heading straight for it. As he reached out to push open the door, he caught the sound of the commander's faint breathing.
His head snapped back toward the commander, seeing his stiff head bobble softly as he awoke from his sleep.
"C-commander," he whispered, eyes widening as relief flooded him. What he thought wasn't at all the truth; the commander wasn't dead.
He slipped his hand off the door, rushing to the commander's side.
"Commander, you're alive," he said, relief and joy evident in his tone. Overwhelmed by the situation, he paced back and forth in front of the commander, too distraught to know what to do.
