The next morning Mila woke up to pee and met Zyran already up, getting ready for work. She walked straight inside the toilet and sat down while Zyran entered and turned on the shower.
Both of them ignored each other after what happened the previous night. It was almost as though they couldn't see each other, but they were aware of each other's presence.
"I'll be at work today, had some important things to take care of yesterday,"
Mila listened to Zyran speak to someone on the phone. When he turned in her direction, she pretended to return back to sleep. She hadn't meant to raise her voice at Zyran; she was even shocked at herself for being so bold as to talk back at Zyran.
Someone she claimed to love, now she was shouting at him. Mila couldn't blame Zyran for feeling threatened with love because if the situation was reversed, she would feel the same too. She was almost forcing her feelings on him.
